Up for sale is a 12-inch laminator machine from GBC. The Eagle 35. It is in great physical condition and functions properly. It took a lot of tinkering to get this thing to work. But I successfully laminated a drawing. There are some key things to pay attention to. The tension knobs on the left side that adjust how easily the laminate rolls move. The keypad on the right adjusts how hot the rollers get and how fast they pull the laminate through. On the right side of the unit, theres a big lever that adjusts the amount of pressure on the laminate. To get a nice. You can also adjust the temperature at the rear, and there is a serrated blade at the back so you can tear off your project. Cosmetically, the casing shows some yellowing from age, evidenced most where a sticker was removed. Also, there are some gouges and cracks to the orange hot roller(see pictures) You really need to replace this for optimal use. This laminator is in great condition. It is missing the sleeve that you put the laminator sheets in to run through during the laminating process. I use manilla folders for this and it works great. The original was nothing more than an oversized manilla folder anyway. The included box of 5 mil sheets produces a very sturdy and hard laminated end result. There are probably close to 70 or more sheets left in the box.
