Used fax machine. Purchased from Office Max May. 2011. It has not been abused at all, very little use in home office. It started to make a noise last week and it was not pulling the ribbon cartridge through. I called Brother and according to the on line diagnostics, they seem to think it is a problem with one of the gears. It is not covered under warranty so I purchased another one and this one is for sale. Brother tells me that the gear can be as little as a few cents to purchase. I cannot repair and the local copy shop wants $90.00 just to look at it. It has been a VERY good machine up to this point, no problems. I feel the repair is something simple, so here it is to sell.
