I have a Solarland SLC-1207 solar charge controller for sale. I didn't need it because I have multiple panels that are fed into a larger charge controller but if you just have 1 or 2 panels that don't generate over 7 amps total(say 90w or less) This will work. This charge controller was siliconed to the back of my panel but I was able to remove it. You will need to have some soldering capability for using this charge controller.to solder your wires to it! This is not a bad controller for its size. It utilizes a Microchip PIC Microcontroller for charge management thus its a smart charger. On top is a switch to choose either gel or lead acid type of battery. 2 LEDs indicate"charging" and"full" Included is almost 16 feet of cable that runs from charge controller to battery. It's an interesting cable as it has ... more1 pair that is 16 gauge and another pair that is 22 gauge. This was the cable that ran from the solar mounted charged controller to the battery. I think the reason there is 4 wires in this cable is that 2 of them carry the majority of the current going to the battery and the other pair is for voltage sense at the battery end. Both reds and both blacks were connected together at the end of the cable(battery end) The reason I think they did it this way was because the charge controller wasn't near the battery(since it was on the back of the panel) and to get a more accurate voltage assessment for regulating they did it this way. But if you have this charge controller near the battery. You can just connect the 2 reds and the 2 blacks together inside the charge controller. note picture of the inside of charge controller) There are 2 places for input to accommodate 2 solar panels.
