Nema 23 Stepper Motor CNC retro kit mini lathe complete with lead screw
Here for sale is a retrofit cnc kit for any 7x10.7x12, 7x14 or any other mini lathe. I purchased this kit a couple years ago from a company called stepper world. I put all the electronics inside a cnc case purchased from CNC4PC.com. Everything works perfectly. This setup runs off of Mach 3 software. I will still continue to use this setup until I sell it. Normally when you are shopping around for a cnc kit for your machine you will only receive the motors, and a board. I am including pretty much everything you need to plug it in and start turning down metal. Heres a breakdown of the included parts list. X axis Nema 23 stepper motor. Y axis Nema 23 stepper motor. 1 extra Nema 23 stepper motor(never used) Fet-3 Breakout Board. Full walk through/ install CD. Already wired motors- breakout board- fans- to parallel port for PC. Cnc Box which houses ... moreall electronics like in the pictures. Here is what makes this kit special. I'm including the small booklet that will give you step by step instructions along with prints on what to do to convert your little lathe to a cnc. The pictures are in color and the prints are not complicated to understand. Minimal brackets need to be made. In the back of that book it lists all the links on where to buy the lead screw for the x axis along with the shims and bearings. Don't worry cause I'm including that also. That lead screw was a little over $100. I'll be throwing that in along with all bearings. Shims and lead screw nut. The only things you need that are shown in the pictures but aren't for sale are: The aluminum bracket that holds the motors(the prints in the book show how to easily make them) The index pulse card.
