It demonstrates Centrifugal Normal 0 force using weighs connected with strings where lift is demonstrated with the speed of rotation. The current digital model of this device lists for over $1.200.00. Of course, that one has more speed control because it is digital) This unit runs on 115VAC and has a 115V DC Motor that is geared down and rated at 1800RPM and 1/12HP. The unit itself runs from about 40RPM to 1150RPM. There is a counter on bottom of the transmission which can be used to calculate the speed of rotation. There is also two adapters which can be connected with a small belt to be used to operate some other moving devices and could easily be used for demonstrating projects or moving displays.
