This is a 1992 Playmates toy Phaser from Star Trek Next Generation. Modified with a GREEN 200mw Burning laser. It should not be pointed at anything living. Because of the mod it cannot be considered a toy any longer. It was made for the serious adult collector. The tip of the nozzle was drilled out to allow the GREEN laser to pass through. The tip was also sanded smooth and painted black, screen accurate. It uses one 9 Volt Rechargable battery and charger,INCLUDED. The phaser has two firing sounds, stun and kill, they still work.I put a push button switch underneath to switch between the two sounds. The phaser was given a new metallic paint job, a clearcoat finish and I filled in the seems along the sides and screw holes.
