Boonton 63H Inductance Bridge Tested RF with reprint manual
For sale is a Boonton Electronics 63H Inductance Bridge. I have owned this for over 22 years. I have used it only a few times and now I dont have the luxury of space to keep it. I bought it when Seagate in Oklahoma City was down sizing. It was used in their design lab to measure inductance of read/write heads for disc drives. The accuracy when calibrated is.01% and it will resolve to.01% The inductance measurement range.0002 uH to 110mH. I dont have a standard inductor to calibrate against but I checked several ranges with known inductor values and I was able to get consistent results. With a standard inductor calibration should be pretty simple. All I did was test it. I am including a reprinted manual as well as the manual on USB drive. Power cord comes permanently attached.

Listed for your consideration is a working Wayne Kerr 3245 precision inductance analyzer. This piece of equipment was pulled from a working line due to the product moving overseas. It was calibrated at the end of it's service as are all equipment at my company. It was several years ago when i purchased it from the company. I have used it very lightly in a hobby capacity and it has always performed perfectly. If you look at the picture with the unit turned on. You can see that the position of the CRT could be adjusted slightly so the displays will end up in the middle of the printed lines. You can easily see the readings by slightly changing the viewing angle. Not a big deal, but I just wanted to mention it spirit of full disclosure. Also included in this package is a copy of the owners manual, two sets of cables and the power cord. The ... morecables alone can be very hard to find and cost hundreds of dollars by themselves. This unit also has the GPIB and Parallel port options installed for computer control. If you or your company is going to use this in a production setting. I would suggest the calibration to be checked to ensure accuracy. I think that goes without saying. While taking pictures. Here is a General Radio 1630A inductance measuring assembly. It is shown under power with a 5 mH inductance standard hooked up to the 1633-A powered by the 1308-A. The 1265-A is hooked up to a 14.1 ohm resistor. Everything basically works as shown in the pictures. But it will need calibration. This manual is a rare vintage find. I think it is in good condition for its age and is usable. The front and back covers show some staining as do the edges of some pages. The pages are not all dried out or brittle and the manual can be used without fear of damage. As the photos will show. The cloth binding is off on the top left corner and some page corners are bent upward. Some of the page corners towards the back of the manual are folded in as if to mark certain sections. There is some writing in pencil on the front cover(covered in white to protect a name and address) More information on this manual can be found at Openlibrary.org.
