The unit can be loaded with up to 3 insert functional modules. I have one 34903A 20 channel switch unit for an additional cost. Conditions of the unit: The unit powers up and shows no error code. The cosmetic condition is good other than a few small scratches. The HP logo and model number on the scale has been partially rubbed-off probably by previous cleaning. I have a HP 3458A DMM(Agilent) for auction. I don’t have to tell you how awesome the 3458A is. I have enjoyed using this meter. But it is time to let it go. Here is what has been done to the meter: New Display and Display Board: Direct from Agilent and very bright N· New Dallas Chips(3) 2013 Date code: Calibration preserved and programmed into the new chips. Sockets installed for the Dallas Chips to ease future chip replacement· New Rear Cover: Direct from Agilent· All capacitors checked for ESR. All voltages verified. The new Dallas chips and Display will eliminate any worries you might have. The chips are good for another 10+ years and with the NEW Display no worries there(it is nice and bright as you can see in the pictures) I preserved the calibration and programmed it into the new Dallas chips. I used my recently calibrated(02/02/2014) ... morestandard as a reference. My standard was calibrated using a Lab Calibrated 3458A on 01/15/2014(picture of the calibration certificate is for my standard. Not the 3458A) As you can see this 3458A is right on the money. If you do not need a NIST traceable calibration, you will be very satisfied with this meter. This meter is in excellent operational condition. It passed its“power-on” self-test. It’s“full” self-test, and it’s Autocal(ACAL- ALL) tests numerous times.
