Please check the bottom of the listing for any additions or answered questions. Item: Here we have an“AC Ammeter Recorder” by Amprobe. I don’t know much about it. Other than what is marked on the unit and case; it is their model No. 850A, and when I plugged it in I heard the motor inside working. When I moved the switch from“Off” to“On” the paper roll inside started to move slowly. It has some instructions attached to the inside of the case, as seen here… And it comes with this clamp. And I think it goes around the wires you are testing… The markings on the clamp are“A70FL– 60 C/S” Along with“Amprobe Instrument” and“Lynbrook, N.Y. Made In U.S.A. which you can see better in the next pic. You can ... morealso see that the ends of the wires, these connect into the terminals near the right side in the first pic above… When not in use. The unit is protected by this leather case… And when it is in use. The paper roll feeds out the bottom of the case seen here… I don’t know how to use it. So I can’t say how well it works, but as I mentioned the motor inside came on and the paper advanced when I plugged it in and turned it on. Age: Uncertain. It is not dated Size: about 6” by 7” And about 3 ½” wide Condition: The unit does seem to power up when plugged in. And the paper advanced when I turned it on, but beyond that I have no clue, so it is offered“As Is” with no returns, please bid accordingly. There is moderate wear and soiling on the case, and a little rust on the screws that hold it together in the back, but I don’t see any damage. Simpson Amp-Clamp AC Clamp on Ammeter 2/20/200 amp, exc condition no reserve
This is slightly used and is in excellent condition. The owners initials have been removed from the end so there is a 1/2" by 1 3/4" mark where the initials were removed. This is a Simpson Model 153-2 Amp-Clamp. It must used with a digital AC voltmeter(not supplied) you cannot directly read amperage with instrument. This has leads that plug into an AC Voltmeter. It outputs.1 volts AC per amp. It has 3 selectable ranges 0 to 2 amps, 0 to 20 amps and 0 to 200 amps.This was used only a few times by a private owner, it was not used commercially. This is for use with DIGITAL AC Voltmeters only, NOT for older electromechanical VOM's. It is the buyer's responsibility to determine if this item is suitable for their application PRIOR to bidding. This is a good looking Simpson AC ammeter model M62654-1. It looks as if it has never been used. Due to there not being any torque marks in the brass nuts, but it is sometimes hard to tell. I do not have any way to test this meter, and I do not know if it needs an external shunt. Item is sold in unknown condition. Vintage 1916/17 WESTON 280 Garage Testing Instrument Set Volt-Ammeter Kit. Volt-Ammeter has"F.T. CO. XMTG. LAB. No 297" engraved on it. Knobs also have from left to right"10.3,30+" engraved into it. I am not sure, but I think the very tip seems bent. Kit has 3 shunts: 300 AMP 100MV No 17145, 30 AMP 100MV Model 280 No 17145, 3 AMP 100MV Model 280 No 17145, and a"Resitance" piece. Yazaki Japan Analog +/-60A Direct Current Ammeter
This is an old-stock analog direct current ammeter that can measure-60 to +60ADC. It is made by Yazaki of Japan. Which is still in operation and manufacturing meters today. This meter has a cast aluminum mounting foot with(2) mounting holes that can be used to install this meter easily on top of a dashboard or console. The meter swivels and tilts on the mount but remains fixed when it is in the desired position. The meter movement can also be removed from the case for flush-mounting in an instrument cluster. The case is ~2-5/8” square x 2-5/16” deep. Overall height including the mounting foot is3-1/2” The edge of the front part of the case is a soft rubber material. Cosmetic condition is very good.
