I purchased this at an estate sale form a doctor who had recently retired it needed a new battery which I purchased( 3.5 Volt rechargeable generic brand) The unit works correctly the ear nose and throat piece light works correctly as does the light for the eye test. It comes with three of the cones for looking into the ear. This is used it has some minor scuffing on the case which still closes correctly and the zipper still works. WELCH ALLYN Master Elite Electronic Stethoscope 5079-405(Similar 3M Littmann) I used the stethoscope during medical school and packed it away after I graduated. It was in perfect working order when I put it away. But I do not have a battery to retest it so I am selling it as-is(although I am nearly certain that it works perfectly fine) When I initially started my clinical semesters in medical school I had purchased one of the 3M Littmann Electronic Stethoscope(it was either the 3100 or the 3200. I can't remember) Since this was an extra one at the time, my dad give it to me. After comparing this one to the Littmann, the Welch Allyn was honestly much better. I found it to be more comfortable with because of the swiveling ear buds, it had better audio clarity, and in general way more features. I ended up selling my Littmann on ebay back ... morethen and kept this one. I have everything that originally came with it, except for the battery. Originally it was over $400, but I received it as a gift from my dad who got it during a promotion when he ordered medical supplies for his office.
