This AED machine was bought back in 2009. It was bought for my grandma before she passed away and it's been lying around at the house until I decided to sell it. The machine was never used. But only turned on. My brother is a nurse and he checked and told me the machine works fine. However, the battery and pads are way past their expiration date. They need to be updated before using the machine again. The machine turns on with the battery, but you can't use something that's past expired when lives are on the line.
