It had been leaking hydraulic fluid for some time and we replaced the hose cleaned up the old hydraulic fluid and added new hydraulic fluid. The chair works nice and there are no problems with the chairs hydraulics. The tilt and back controls are on both sides of the bed near the foot of the bed and the height control is a foot operated control. This is a nice chair that is ready to work for a long time. The most notable damage however is that the top portion(the part that raises) has become partially detached from the hinge and will need to be repaired before use. We also pulled out the stirrups, and they too slide in and out easily, and stay locked in place, but didn't change angle. Authentic and original Albright Idea doctor's medical exam table. Heavy oak and brass. Bevel gear with crank on each side raises and lowers the back. Back section swivels smoothly on ball bearings. And locks into place with levers. Nickel-plated Stirrups. 2 small thumbscrews are not original. Approximately 6" long. 23" wide, and 28" tall. I can't get an exact weight but think it's ~125-150lbs. I've had this for ~20 years. But now it's time for someone else to enjoy it. Very comfortable to sit on. Great for watching your favorite horror movies, tattoo studio, exams at home in spare time, etc. Local pickup only. I don't have a truck. And cannot crate.
