Designs for Vision headlight. This listing is for two light supply units and one cable with light and head basket as seen in photo. This is a quick disconnect. So you just unplug from one light box and plug into the other. The light intensity is adjustable and if you turn it up on high it will be brighter than you could ever need it(I used it on low or medium and that was plenty of light) As you can see in the photo the unit is working. The photo is with the light on the lowest setting and I stood off to the side so it did not blind the camera. Head basket is adjustable at top and in the back to help fit securely. I am retiring from my Surgical Practice and am selling my Ambulatory Surgery Center equipment. This is a Head Light Source. i have used it for many years. Designs for Vision no longer makes it because they can seel the more expensive models. This machine has the unusual capacity to instantly change bulbs by the twist of the knob on the top to change the bulb inside from one bulb to the next. Hence the term"Quadrilite" The head piece is functional but in need of repair or replacement. The light cable works perfectly and provides a bright round beam. The intensity can be changed by a twist of the dial on the front. It was worked perfectly the day I stopped doing surgery a couple of months ago.

For auction is a set of vintage. Designs For Vision's Medical Surgical Loupe Bifocal Glasses Telescopes with Storage Box. These glasses belonged to a prominent neurosurgeon here in Houston. They are in very nice condition overall. There do not appear to be any scratches on the lenses. The lenses and telescopes are clear. No hazing. The metal frames do have a couple very minor marks from use. But are very clean overall. The telescopes measure approx 22mm on the large end. 14.3mm small end, length is 29mm. Designs for Vision Surgical Loupes Telescopes Glasses Box Head Strap Horn Rim This auction is for a pair of Designs for Vision Surgical Telescopes in a foam lined wooden box. See Photos) They come with a 2 piece(approximately 7 ½” each in length) Velcro adjustable with rubber ends head strap. The Velcro works well(It does have some of the yellow foam on it) and the rubber feels soft and pliable. I did not attempt to attach the strap to the glasses as I do not know the age of these items and do not want to damage them. See Photos) The lenses appear to be clear glass with no scratches that I can see. See Photos) The telescopes/ loupes. Which protrude approximately ¾” beyond the lenses also appear to be scratch free. See Photos) The frames, which are approximately 5 ½” from temple to temple are metal. The pupillary distance of ... morethe loupes is approximately 2 ¼” The size. 46-24 is stamped above the left lens. The Designs for Vision logo 6& USA are stamped inside the right temple piece. See Photos) The frames do show wear, a few small scrapes and areas of loss of the black paint finish. See Photos) There is some green on the nose pad and on the left temple piece henge. See Photos) The temples pieces, one of which bears the name L. H utchinson MD. Are snug. See Photos) The wooden box, which has a USA Excelsior Stamford, Conn latch, does show age and use related wear having scrapes and scratches. The outline of the area where the Designs for Vision and the doctor’s name plate was attached is still visible on the lid. The soft foam interior is deteriorated discolored and starting to come apart. But still affords protection to these specialized glasses. I do not know the magnification. These glasses are used.
