Vintage Navajo Silver & Turquoise Men's Watch Cuff Signed BF or BP with Star
Heavy. Signed vintage Navajo old pawn silver and turquoise men's watch cuff. I bought this for myself several years ago from a dealer in Southwest silver jewelry, but found it too large(2 1/2" at its widest point; 1 1/4" high) and unwieldy(2 3/8 oz/68 g) for me to wear. Not sure of the date of production, but it seems to be at least 40-50 years old. This cuff was hand crafted with four chunky turquoise stones in scalloped bezels- they look hand cut and finished, as they're slightly and naturally bumpy. There appears to be a repair on the left side-there's a line of solder on the inside of the band that doesn't show in front; perhaps this was done when it was originally made. There's a slight crack on one of the two front leaves that matches the placement of the back repair(the arrow above indicates this) plus ... morea bit of a solder drip on the back near the opening(also indicated above) These don't detract from its appearance. The mark appears on the inside of the band under the watch area: it looks like an elaborate, hand-etched"BF" or"BP" with an incised stamp of a flower or star. There are some rough spots on the silver that a watch would cover- again, these rough spots could have been part of the cuff's production. It hasn't been tested for sterling, and has a lovely, overall patina. Not perfect or in mint condition by any means, but still attractive, and offered with no reserve. Payment is due within 7 days. Littmann Master Classic ii stethoscope plus BP cuff
This is a very gently used set of Littman Master Classic II stethoscope. 27 inches tubing, color is CEIL BLUE. Also included is a Prestige Medical BP cuff with handy carrying bag. I was a nursing student who dropped out during my 2nd semester and I am not going back. So they are in great shape. The only"defects" I see are 1. I wrote my name on the BP cuff(see pic) and then the tubing on the stethoscope is indented a little from where I had my nametag. You can see it on the 3rd picture. Included are: a head lamp; a Propper brand oscillotonometre(old fashioned blood pressure cuff) in the original leather case; several instruments in a metal. Lidded sterilization tray, including scissors, suture holders, glass syringes, clamps and tweezers; two urethral catheter trays(disposable) a box with ECG electrodes(Cardiosonics brand) and a wooden box with a glass, gauged instrument with which I am not familiar. This could be a great display for those who collect medical instruments. Suffice it to say, these instruments are collectibles and are in no way safe to use.
