Huge 16-1/2" Shackle Hoists Winches Rigging 55ton + 2-3/4" Screw Pin Crosby?
Hi I think this is a construction or rigging shackle as that is the information I can find about it. I have not found a name on it but looked up the largest one on the Crosby sight and the largest one they had was a 55 ton 2-1/2 inch shaft(this one is almost 3" for the pin) for about $800.00 and theirs weighted 55 pounds(this one is about 75-80#s)so this is a little bigger then that. This is about 16-1/2 to 17" inches long. Some dings from being used but in good working order. The screw pin goes in and out as it should. This is a really big shackle and weights about 80 pounds all together. I will have to ship these seperate as I am over the limit(70pounds) for the weight at the post office. I have a lot consisting of 7 used chain hoists ranging from 1 ton to a 5 ton unit. 1- 1 ton JET unit 2- 2 ton Budgit units 3- 3 ton Budgit units 1-5 ton Harrington unit. The 1 ton- 3 ton units all have trollies. I do not have a trolly for the 5 ton Harrington. These units all came out of a working environment. I have not tested any as to their being operational. I am selling them as a package to save time and money. Some parts may either be missing or not connected.Like chain cans. By the Lidgerwood Manufacturing Company with General Offices at 96 Liberty Street. New York, N.Y. It measures 9 inches x 12 inches and has all it's 31 pages with great illustrations. Cover has some marks on it and through out there is a oil dampstain near the binding yet the pages are clean with no writing without tears. Really enjoyed it but now it needs a good home. This overhead hoist/ gantry crane setup was purchased from All Lifts Inc. Albany. NY) for around $70,000(I still have the invoice) Since 2010, all of the critical components have been kept in their original crating and have been stored inside. The structural components such as the runway beams have been stored outside. The setup was assembled and tested at the factory before shipment. I only assume that everything is in working order since the setup is still in its original crating. I'm happy to demonstrate anything with an appointment. The reason we're selling it is that project was cancelled and now we're just trying to get rid of unnecessary equipment at our facility.
