This is a high quality servo motor/generator that was a replacement for the ametek 50V servo motor in tape drives. It has the same characteristics for electric wind power generation. It will work as a motor from 1V to 120V DC with 3.000 RPM at 120V. I wanted to see if I could repeat an experiment I made running an Ametek 72V Generator Motor using a high speed 59” turbine. I had a car headlight bulb blown out in 29 MPH winds. The generator was on no load and as soon as the head light bulb was connected it blew out in a flash. This motor generator blew out a similar car bulb in 27 miles per hour winds with a 3 bladed 59” diameter air ex turbine. Due to long term storage there is some cosmetic wear.
