Vintage Arctic Cat Snowmobile FLYING ARROW Helmet Old 1970's Design Unusual WOW
This is the helmet everybody wants. The famous Arct Cat Flying Arrow helmet. Super cool design. Multicolor metalflake design. Shell in nice and shiny, gloss black. It has a few scrapes in to the finish of the shell on the back part of the helmet. A couple other minor scratches. Still displays just great. Liner is excellent but missing top pad, easy fix as all these old helmets are missing the top pad. Straps are excellent. I would say this is a LARGE size helmet. One of the best around, not many of these left.

Three of them have a handwritten label on them that read NEZ PERCE RESERVATION. UMATILLA RESERVATION& SAMPAIL RESERVATION. These arrow heads measure 4 1/8" 2 7/ 8" 2 1/2" 1 7/8" 1 1/ 4" 1 1/4" 1 3/4" and 1 5/8" I find most of my auction items at estate sales and yard sales. There may be some smoke or pet or musty odors. This Is A Pre- WWII Oregon City Woolen Mills Banded Blanket The Bands Include Teepee And Arrow Head Designs The Robe has a Design On The Front And The Negative Of That Design On The Back Please Note That The Black Areas At The Top Of The First Two Pictures Are Shadows From The Overhang Where We Hang Blankets To Take Pictures. In 1864 Oregon Woolen Mills began producing what were soon known as some of the finest woolen products on the market. Their's were some of the first American Indian trade blankets. It claimed that its Indian trade blankets were"of fine quality and unusual beauty. According to Robert Kapaun in his book Language of the Robe. The company's 1914 catalog claimed it"naturally produced the Indian's most cherished patterns. Our designers are ... moremen steeped in Indian lore. They have worked side by side with the Indian and come into possession of his favorite designs and colorings, along with their symbolism. Oregon City blankets were characterized by more intricate designs and more complex color combinations than blankets produced by other mills. This robe was made post 1920s according to Kapoun and its label. The label for this robe is shown in the last photo. This blanket is made of 80 to 85% merino wool. Woven on a cotton warp. It is bound with an applied dark red-brown felt binding. The binding is attached to the blanket by 2 lines of machine stitching. It measures approx. 62" x 80" This blanket is in good condition for its age. There are a few moth nibbles. And 2 small ones go all the way through. The felt binding is in excellent condition except that at the corner nearest the label the square corner is very slightly abraided. I have tried to show the hole and the corner in the last two pictures. This blanket has a very slight storage smell and could use a dry cleaning. B ut we leave that to you to decide. This scarce card is one in a series of 43 cards issu ed in Canada by the WILLARDS Chocolates Limit ed Company of Toronto. One was insert ed into each package of WILLARD’S Chocolates. They are list ed as series V101 in Burdick’s American Card Catalogue. They are entitl ed“Indian Series” Although no guide that I know of provides an actual date of issu ed I have always assum ed that it is some time around the late 1920’s era. Each card features a colorful image representing an aspect of Traditional Native American Indian Life. The back states that there are 43 cards in the series and gives a brief summary of the features aspect of Native life featur ed. The glass is a fleur de lis that has been cut away from the red glass to an opaque clear design. This looks great hung in a window with the light shining through it.
