Hi! Please consider this early ether machine used in dental and medical surgeries. Contained in its original 10" x 5 1/2" x 7" dovetailed box this simple and welcomed invention is made of rubber. Metal and an animal gall bladder. It is a simple device with numbers from 1- 8 allowing more or less anaesthesia into the mask. The bladder has a metal threaded attachment where by it screwed into the machine. There is a short hose connected to the mask that allows air to combine with the ether in the orb. The bladder has a rip and will not hold air- but it is amazing to have survived. On the side of the orb"COLLIN Depose No. 21121. There is a dent in the back of the orb, a bit of rubber of the mask has melted, and the catch is missing on the lid of the case. Everything screws in and out as it should.
