Vintage Gold Vanity Set Large Mirrored Tray Perfume Holder Jewelry Box
Beautiful Gold colored tray set. The mirrored tray has cherub statues circling the outer edge with gold chain looped from cherub to cherub. The jewelry box has four cherubs that form the four legs of the box. It also has a beveled glass top and has the only marks found in the set. It has a# 350 and a capital B on the bottom of one foot. The perfume holder has two cherubs that hold up the main part of the piece. The tray is a 16 1/2" x 12" oval with mirror. The jewelry box is a 8 1/2" x 6" oval 3 1/2" tall. The perfume holder is 8 1/2" tall. I don't think there is any actual gold in the set.

For bid is a vintage round footed trinket/jewelry box and a footed oval shape mirrored tray. The pieces came from the same estate. The design of the goldtone metal is not exactly the same. But a close match in design. The bottom of the trinket box is lined. Trinket box has a pretty latch on the front for lifting the hinged lid, works fine. It has a glass see through top lid. Measures approx. 3 inches across the top and approx. 2 1/4 inches in height. The tray measures approx. 7 1/4 by 5 1/4 inches and approx. 1 1/2 inches in height. Both are very nice pieces, I see no damage.

Stará Role, Czech Republic(Altrohlau, Bohemia, Austria) Founded 1883 by Lazarus and Rosenfeld. Ltd. 1885 it was sold to Franz Schmidt. It was the largest factory. The factory's main concern was commercial production and was not concerned with artistic value. Still though. It produced some high quality pieces. It also manufactured a ceramic called porelite. A substandard version of porcelain. In 1945 it merged with the Altrohlau Porcelain Factories and the SPIAG factories to become a part of Starorolsky Porcelain.
