DAYTON 2 GPM HYDRAULIC POWER UNIT
Up for auction is very nice DAYTON 2 GPM power pack. It was purchased as new old stock and that was in fact the case. It was hooked up to a 1 HP electric motor and put out 1400 PSI at 1750 RPM. We needed more volume and pressure so this unit is up for auction. Please note no motor is included. The pump was disassembled prior to hookup for inspection. It is an extremely well made unit. The pump gear shafts ride on needle bearings on both ends. The pump intake has a very fine brass screen suction filter. The output housing is machined cast iron. The tank is 1.5 gal capacity and is aluminum. They don't make them like this anymore. This unit is obsolete according GRAINGER who sells the DAYTON line. However the pump works perfectly. The shaft size is 7/16 and will ship with the LOVEJOY 075 coupler. The ports are 3/8" NPT including the ... morebreather which is included but not shown in the photos. Unit is complete for hydraulic set-up: 25 gal reservoir; cooling system; 3 control valves; all filters; basic piping/hoses. Also has 4th pump, a Vickers vane, which was for the power steering. Engine is complete with fuel tank. Radiator, alt, etc. This unit would also be great for a generator set-up. It can handle up to 30K. Or 10- 15 K if using hydraulics in combination.
