This is a used Riken hydraulic pump. made in Japan) that has been tested to 10,000 PSI with test gauge. the gauge on the pump matched the test gauge very closely within 2 to 3 percent, and the load holding valve held pressure well. This is a small pump with a reservoir size of approx. 1/2 gallon. The pump is an automatic dump pump(when the motor runs the pump builds pressure, when it stops the pressure is dumped off and the cylinder or tool being used is able to retract) When the load holding valve handle is moved to the closed position(turned to the left side) the pump builds pressure when running and the valve holds that pressure, this valve is a combination valve with a needle valve and one way check valve built into it) In this position you can use the pendant and jog the pump to advance or build pressure in the tool or cylinder and it ... morewill hold until the valve handle is moved to the right to release. This auction is for the pump you see pictured. Pictures are of the actual item. This one appears to be different from the others I have seen pictured on the Internet. Others have a sort of turn valve. This one has a block with power cords connecting to them with large sort of air hose connectors. Not sure why or what it was used for. I plugged the unit in and flipped the side switch to on. It ran continuous just fine. When the switch is flipped up you can use the corded remote and put the button forward or back and the motor will hum, seems to be a manual way to run the pump. That's as far as the testing I could go. It does look to have a line or oil in it from the gauge ... moreon the side of the the unit. Wish I knew more or could do more with it. Comes as pictured.
