Here's a good Vintage Yale& Towne. Spur Geared, Block& Chain Hoist, It's manually operated, 1 ton capacity, Model BB. The block is about 14" across. The pull chain extends about 6 feet form the block. The hoist chain is about 9 feet long. This was an auction find in upstate New York, No history about its use. I see no issues with the operation. Spear teeth are visible and all there. The stop latch is fine, with good spring tension. This hoist can still do the job. Weighs about 100 pounds.Quality old tool here. Made in USA! Ships Fast!

This hoist is in very good condition and was kept inside of a marina for use in lifting boat engines for many years. It shows some wear in keeping with it's age and work history. These hoists are built like a tank and this one would be a good addition to your garage or workshop. Due to the fact that this is a very heavy item. I will not be able to ship. Vintage, Antique Yale Towne Spur Geared Block 1/2 Ton Chain Hoist, lift
For sale is an old vintage spur geared 1/2 ton chain hoist made by Yale. It's been sitting in my garage on the shelf for years and I simply no longer have a use for it. I have used it in the past and it worked fine. As shown the chains have surface rust from sitting.
