I believe the brake assembly on the motor side is missing and the transformer is wired for 110v. Basically the 220v to 24v transformer in the unit was replaced with a 110v to 24v transformer to power the hand controls. This maybe the issue with this unit but I have not gotten deep enough into the wiring to diagnose it. Up operates perfect but down sticks sometimes as you can see in the video. We upgraded to a full overhead system and no longer have any need for this hoist. It was used very little in our shop. It functions 100% and we never had an issue with it. The hoist comes with one ton Frost beam trollies so you can mount it on I-beam. It also comes with the cable carriers that can be seen in the pictures. I believe the chain has a 10 foot length.
