DRH Johnson Crane Snatch Block (and tackle?) 6-1/2" Pulley 1" Rope Line 10 ton?
Up for auction is this vintage snatch block. I can make out DRH Johnson on it but nothing else. I found it in a garage I bought. It was mounted to an I-beam overhead and had a sign saying"Max. Safe Operating Capacity 10 Tons(20.000 lbs. I don't know if that is the actual rating of this piece though. I would have to assume that the rig would be labeled for the weakest component so I would also assume that this is 10 tons or more. It's about 19" from tip of the hook to the bottom of the pulley. The pulley as about 6-1/2 inches in diameter and looks like it had a 1" diameter cable. It's a little filthy and has some surface rust but the hook swivels and the pulley rotates freely. Please note: Item will be partially disassembled in order to fit in a flat rate priority box in order to save you money as well as reach you ... morein a lot less time. No reserve so bid to win! As seen in the photos, there's a little rust on the forged metal but nothing that compromises the integrity or function of the system. The rope is somewhere around 50 ft. long(couldn't measure the extra rope in the pulley. It's still strong. The rope is around 3/8" It was still hanging in the barn over the area where tractors were worked on, but I see that it's also used in hunting, boating, etc. Nice find.

Old Set of Rope Pulley's-2 & 3 Pulleys-Intact-Fully Operational-Inscribed "4 S"!
I am selling these two very old metal pulley's. One has 2 pulleys and one has 3 pulleys. They were attached to an old rope but the rope was in very bad shape so I removed them. Each pulley has a 4 and an S imprinted on both of it's sides. That is the only identifying marks that I can find on them. As noted. They are fully functional and are ready to be put to work if the situation warrants. The larger pulley and hook is 9 1/2 inches long and 3 1/4 inches wide. The smaller pulley actually extends longer because of the additional link on it's bottom side. It is 10 1/2 inches long and 2 3/8 inches wide. They weigh 7 pounds. The hooks are in good shape and the pulleys turn freely. I hope someone can use these things.
