You are bidding on a Vintage 1940`s Hobart Coffee Grinder- Model 3430- It is in very nice condition. But it has scratches, scuffs and a few chips(see pictures) nothing bad but they are there, as you can see from the pictures it is as clean as a pin inside and out. I completely disassembled this unt, even the motor was taken out and cleaned everything including the complete grinder and control for size was cleaned and checked. The light works and you can put in your advertisement behind the original frosted glass, even new rubber around the top funnel- I will not call it mint but it`s pretty nice and would make a great display and you won`t have to spend hours cleaning it up. Offering a Beautiful Vintage HOBART Commercial Coffee Grinder. Model.275 MADE IN THE USA in TROY. OH. Comes as pictured without the Hopper/Funnel. Overall it's in decent shape. It has been tested for the most basic function only. I was able to power and use the unit to grind some coffee beans. I found it to work pretty good but I was unable to get a fine grind. The adjustment knob will only dial to Fine Grind which looked more like a medium grind to me. I could not get to the super fine grind. It may need some adjustment and maybe a new spring. I checked the grinding wheel and it looks to be in excellent condition. As you can see from my pics the cosmetics are clean. But with some normal wear. You will see many chips and scratches, but for an item this old, It's in great shape. It has great character and would look fantastic in a ... moredeli or small store. VINTAGE COMMERCIAL COFFEE GRINDER MADE BY HOBART VERY GOOD CONDITION AND WAS WORKING RIGHT UP UNTIL IT WAS REMOVED FROM A GROCERY STORE WHICH CLOSED. EVERYTHING LOOKS TO BE ORIGINAL AND VERY CLEAN. PAINT IS NOT QUITE PERFECT BUT VERY GOOD. IT HAS A CUSTOM GRIND SELECTOR TO CHOOSE THE VARIOUS SETTINGS FROM"VERY FINE" TO"EXTRA COURSE" THIS IS MADE BY THE HOBART MANUFACTURING COMPANY- A GREAT NAME IN RESTAURANT EQUIPMENT. IT ALSO HAS THE ORIGINAL INSERT WHICH LIGHTS UP! THERE IS A SETTING FOR THE LIGHT TO BE ON FULL TIME- OR YOU CAN ADJUST IT SO THAT THE LIGHT ONLY COMES ON WHEN IT IS GRINDING. THIS WOULD BE A GREAT ADDITION AS A WORKING THROWBACK TO THE OLD TIMES- A GREAT NOSTALGIC PIECE FOR ANY COFFEE SHOP. Restored Antique Art Deco Hobart A & P Supermarket Commercial Coffee Grinder !!
Beautiful fully restored antique Art Deco Hobart coffee grinder. This grinder works and looks great! I have had both the engine and the glass stenciling completely refurbished. This great vintage grinder was originally used in the A& P supermarkets. It was made by the Hobart Company Troy. Ohio in the 1930's. This is model# 3430, and is app. 24" high, 14" wide, and 10" deep. This large and heavy piece would look great as a conversation piece, or as a fully functional grinder in your home, restaurant, or coffee house. This large piece weighs about 75 pounds, so I am only offering pick up in the Asheville/ Greenville area. Vintage Hobart Commercial Coffee Grinder Model 3430 For sale is a very nice Art Deco style working Hobart Coffee Grinder that we used as a display piece in our home. Would be a great display piece for a restaurant as well. Nice heavy piece. Dimensions: Approximately 25" H x 16" W x 10.25" D Condition: Good. Some aging as would be expected. A little rust here and there on the outside and some rust/corrosion on the inside. Pictures best describe the condition. You'll want to clean the inside if you're going to use it. Tested and works well. No lid. Never had one. We put a new bulb in it. Love how it looks when it's lighted. Shipping: $140 Flat Rate via UPS Ground to the lower 48 states.
