Condition is excellent especially for the age. I have seen similar cases before and they alway have problems with the zipper or the handle and both and these are working well. The inside is made very cleaver with pockets/compartments for papers and business cards. Looks wide enough to hold a laptop but I didn't have one to test. There's very few loose areas of stitching and the case has a really nice warm Patina. The bottom has all for metal feet that are very secure. Measurements are 15 1/2" x 10 1/2" I accept paypal. This is a larger buckle measuring approx. 2-1/2" across at the widest. Uses up to a 1" wide belt at the buckle. The width of the belt it is on now measures approx 1-3/4" wide and approx. 43" in length from outside end of the buckle to the very end of the tip. The longest usable length of the belt would be about 5-3/4" to 6" less. Belt has some discoloration as pictured- also there is some age splitting starting near the edge of the tip where the leather connects to the tip on the leather. Still useable. Old basketweave tooled leather saddle satchel messenger bag H.B.Brand Nebraska
This is from an estate of 87 year old woman here in Marion County whose family said that it had come to her in her family and she was told it was used to carry music- however. Tho it would hold the length, the music would have to have been folded lengthwise to fit inside so I rather doubt this story.it does however look like a courier bag of some sort. It is made by a company called H.B. BRAND that is or was located in Lincoln Nebraska and began in 1884 as Harpham Bros Co. they specialized only in finely tooled saddlery and I think they are still in business and they make a very high end tooled saddle equipment which sells under the name'Brand' According to my research. The mark on this item was used from 1934- 50s when the owner passed away. I think it is some sort of small saddle bag accessory used to transport papers. DESCRIPTION: ... moreMeasures 15" wide. 8" top to bottom and expands to 2" see last pic) The rolled and stitched leather handles are attached through the front and the back and stick upjust about 3" over the top.just enough to put your hand through and hold onto. It is a tooled basketweave pattern both front and back with the flap being tooled with an iris-looking flower in the center and scrolling off to each side. The three snaps are brass and each is stamped H. B. Brand- they are tarnished with green oxidation.normal for old brass to do this and it will clean off with brass polish if you choose. The oval brand mark is stamped into the center under the flap- it says in the oval around the rim'Saddlery Goods With This Brand Are the Best Made' and then H.B.Brand in the center.research shows this mark was used from 1934 into the 1950s. CONCERNS: Stitching is still all tight and holding well- the brass snaps need polish- there is surface wear along the top fold as well as along the bottom. Antique old 1900 Lafasco Western High back saddle VGC hand tooled reconditioned
This is a beautiful. Unusually large, old highback western saddle in very good condition for its age. The seat, when measured from the base of the horn to the middle of the cantle, is 15 1/2 inches. It is the old"bronc" style, with the very wide pomel, measuring 16 1/2 inches. For a saddle of its time. The gullet is quite wide, measuring 6 inches. This saddle is in very good condition, but is probably over 100 years old, and does show some wear from time and use. There are dings and abrasions in various spots, the bottom skirt shows quite a bit of surface cracking, and so do the very bottoms of the stirrup leathers. Lighter amounts can be seen elsewhere on the saddle. However, the leather is all pliable and strong, and this saddle appears very solid to continue to use. The rigging is very solid, and the big old cinch ring is heavy ... morebrass. The old stirrups appear to be bound in brass as well, a sign of certain quality and craftsmanship. The saddle has been recently reconditioned by an Amish saddlemaker. And the fleece as well as all of the latigo strings, are new and attractive. The carving, which is both basketweave and floral, is lovely and still shows very well. A perfect example shows with the photo of the cantle in picture#8. The horn is solid and tight, but the edges of the front have broken off away at the level of the stitching, and this can be seen in pictures 3 and 4. The horn leather remains tight though. The swells at the pomel are 16 1/2 inches. Meant to keep that cowboy in place on the back of that bronc! The very high cantle drop measures a full 5 1/2 inches( the highback) The saddle has wide, thick, exposed stirrup leathers which are laced with latigo. They appear solid, although have some surface cracking in places.minor. The lasso strap has been replaced, and new silver conchos have been added to the leather ones. We ended up wit h some saddles a while back from a sa le and this is one of them. It appears that i t was studded at one time~ there are little diamond shapes all the way around it(the silver is long gone)~ It is FOR DECOR ONLY! I am pretty sure the tree is broken! It has has a repair on the bottom of the horn. The slide covers on the adjusters are missing(see pic#5) the seat is in bad shape. Looks like there has been new saddle strings and good conchos put on it at one time. Would make a nice garden p iece or a mail box cover or a fence sitter~ BUT NOT FOR RIDING! Maybe a good saddle to thr ow on a colt the first it. But NOT FOR RIDING! There are NO stirrups! Unsure of the age of these old spurs. No maker's marks to be found. Fancy hand tooled silver on them. Unsure of the silver material is composed of. Possibly sterling or nickel? Leather straps are in good condition. These have not been cleaned in any way. Heel measures 3" wide x 1 1/4" tall and the spur wheel appears to be brass and measures 1 3/4" wide.

Beautiful Old Western Saddle from an Unknown Maker( it appears to be a Tex Tan Hereford)It is marked with a 2 underneath below the Pommel which I believe is a model number.It is also marked with an 8 underneath between the tree at the rear.15 inch seat and a 5" gullet.Has what appear to be the original stirrups and leathers with it and it's in Great condition.Someone has applied a cloth over the front of the seat that appears to have been there for years/decades and I'm not going to try to remove it. Up for bid is a beautiful. Deeply, hand tooled leather floral leaf pattern Hamley Bros. rifle scabbard that measures 29" long. At the widest point it's 6" and the small end, 3" It is a wonderful rich Mahogany color& quite uniform in color, on the front no distracting discoloration or spotting, on the back, it's somewhat mottled as expected, but nothing distracing. In the 30+ yrs of collecting, I've had many scabbards, but few that are as nicely tooled as this one. This 60-70 year old gun holster would compliment any Visalia, Hamley or Keyston Bros saddle. I have a Winchester 25-20 that fits it. You be the judge as to what else might fit. The interior is excellent. It would also look in any old west spur or bit collection as a wall hanger. Vtg. Complete Western Bridle Mrkd 7X Nice Tooled Design Forged Steel Old Bit VGC
This quality made older bridle is in very good condition. It's only flaw is a scuff mark on the very front of the brow-band(picture#12) and a crack in the leather at the last hole in the throatlatch. Every thing else on the bridle(including the reins) is very nice. No crazing or cracking of the leather. The curb-strap is a little stiff, but the rest of the leather of both the headstall and the reins is soft and flexible. I don't think that it has seen much use. Even the end straps that go thru the buckles do not show much wear as seen in pictures#5& 10. The leather is rather thick, of very good quality and the bridle is very well made. The nice tooled design stands out well. The only identifying marking that I can see on the bridle is the marking of"7X" by the adjustment buckle of the side piece and I have shown this ... moremarking in the 5th picture. The bit though is marked"Forged Steel" and is in usable condition with it's only flaw being that there are some areas on the bit where it's silver top coat is missing and the underlying brown color of the metal is showing thru. As seen in the 11th picture. The little metal conchos on the bridle are tarnished, I have cleaned and conditioned the leather, but I have not attempted to clean the conchos or hardware. The nice reins are over 80" long. The length of the headstall at it's longest length. Measuring the distance from one side of the bit up and over the poll down to the other side of the bit, is about 46" But it has enough holes in it to shorten it up 8" The brow-band is 15" long, end to end. The mouth-piece of the bit is 5" Nice attractive older bridle that is already to be used. This complete bridle is being sold"no returns" and I'll be happy to send anyone any additional pictures that they might like. As well as answer any questions. This is a pair of vintage Cowboy Boots in black leather with some overall tooling. This pair probably dates to the 1930s/40s period. Each is about a size 8 to 9 mens. Maybe-they measure about 11 1/2 in. long including the narrow toe, and about 4 in. across the widest part. And they have metal'hobnails' on the heels-I suppose for traction-these look like a Cowboy's working boots to me and were found at a mid-Valley ranch estate. Any markings these may have had, are long worn away. This saddle is being sold as part of an Estate sale. I have captured some measurements in the photographs. Looking on the internet I believe this saddle to be at least a 12" saddle. As I personally know little about Saddles I called around to get more information and a saddle specialist here in Florida said he believed it to be a 1060s- 1970s'showroom sample' ... moreand very collectable. Vintage Unused Tooled Western Breast Collar This is a vintage tooled western breast collar with a double yoke wither strap. Natural. Medium color leather. Consignor states that it is from the 1970’s. And based on the construction, we believe this to be accurate, however, there is no provenance to support this. This is a nicely tooled. Unused breast collar lined with sheepskin on the reverse side. The maker took some care and thought when making this, and clearly it was being made as a“working ranch” piece of equipment. It has a double yoke style wither strap. So this piece was designed to be used in the high country. Sadly. It is missing one tug strap, so you’ll have to have a saddler make another strap or a pair of matching straps if you intend to use this piece. Very rare Texas marked holster marked by C M Cain. Tyler, Tx. Research shows a S M Cain listed in the Bastrop advertiser 1854-1879. Talking to known holster collectors I only found one other holster marked by him. The holster is a single loop floral holster with a sewn in toe. The holster has a 6 and a 44 marked on the back. A colt s.a. will fit but a S&W N frame fits well. This type of holster has been seen unmarked with numbers stamped on them. It is unk. if the C M Cain made the holster or ordered the holster mail order and marked the holster to sell at his business. There is no damage to the holster. There is a rivet on the back with a square of leather. The rivet does not go to the holster body and there is no holes on the front of the holster. There are two factory holes on the top of the back and one at the bottom with a piece ... moreof leather attached where the leg tie down would be. Here is a nice used roping saddle from Martin Saddlery made in Greenville Texas. This saddle is in good using condition and is 3/4 tooled. It has a 15" seat. A 3" cantle, 12 1/2" swells, 3 1/4" horn with a 2 1/2" cap. The gullet measures 6 3/4"s wide. The tree is solid the horn is tight and the lining is good. It has been used and will have normal wear for a used roping saddle. The horn does show some wear but its in good using condition. This is a great saddle so dont miss out! Up for fast sell is a super rare mid 19th century Western/ Cowboy.22 caliber gun holster& ammo belt! I want to say that this is truly high quality leather! The leather is very thick everywhere& has held up as intended when it was hand tooled back in the 1800s. All then.22 caliber ammo slots are intact ready for ammo. Quality leather may I add again! Notice the now rusty hardware used in making this. Notice how the thread work appears to have been done with some kind of thick twine versus regular thread seen in most gun rigs back then. What you see in the photos is the actual item being sold. We do not use'stock' photos. These beautifully tooled and engraved Western style spurs are perfect for the woman who likes fancy things. Gal or lady leg spurs as these are called. Would look great on any Cowgirls boots. These items are used. But not abused. They look great! The thick custom made leather"straps" were skillfully hand tooled to match the steel spurs and were embellished with nickel plated heart conchos. The blued steel spurs have also been tooled and engraved and also feature 3 nickel plated hearts. The Lady"Legs" are also embellished with a brass rope style"garter" that spins. The 10 point rowels are brass and make a really nice sounding"ching.Ching" like heard in the Western movies. The sound reminds me of a small bell ... moreringing) The chain that goes under the boot is also brass. The nickel is bright with a slight patina. Just gorgeous and in excellent condition estate found c1910s Arts& Crafts tooled leather purse with clear green and ivory celluloid plastic framed top closure. This purse has so much going for it.the 8" wide by 7" tall purse has soft and supple leather with embossed lotus art N ouveau design work on one side; whip-stitching is intact and in good condition with some bumps but otherwise tight; top is not cracked and is very functional with drop over closure(note the scratched surface from the s wing arm that is not noticed when arm is in place) I nside the soft suede interior there are 2 pouches and the coin purse is still here; the backside has a strap to connect to a saddle! Offered for auction is this Vintage Leather Tooled& Beaded Belt. Probably a souvenir from someone's Western trip. The belt is marked: WAMPUM Top Grain Cowhide HAND BEADED. Marked size 26. Belt is tooled leather on each end. With very tight intricate beading, featuring a Thunderbird and Arrows. Very nice! It has a metal buckle which is copper colored. Marked Size 26. Measurements: Leather- 29" overall. To First Hole- 23" To Last Hole- 26" About 1 1/2" wide at the widest. Doesn't look like it was ever worn to me- just stored a long time. No wear marks on the holes. Estate Sale Find- exact age unknown. Leather still supple- not cracked. Metal snaps under buckle show a little corrosion from age. Buckle is nice. Vintage 1960s Tooled Western Saddle handmade by Ellis in Van Nuys CA. Formerly owned by the Western singer Smokey Rogers. 16" seat, 30"L from front edge of skirt to back edge of rear skirt. Engraved silver cap and roping on horn, enraved plates on skirt corners, possibly a Bohlin buckle on pommel, silver roping on cantle and skirts, conchos and back cantle plate, suede seat. This is a nice vintage saddle with a bit of history and a black and white framed picture of Smokey comes with the saddle. This auction does not include the stand, but I will provide all saddle parts like the off billet and girth that I received with it when Ibought it. Sheepskin is in good condition and tree is sound. Heiser floral holster with safety strap. Holster is marked on the brown snaps and has K-11 on the back. A Colt s.a.5 1/2 will fit well. I could not find another exact fit for any other gun. Holster blocker shown is not included in the sale. Its possible the very front of the holster where the site would sit has been trimmed but its hard to tell. No other repairs or damage seen.
