This a RARE-possibly ONE OF A KIND tin or zinc-washed Solid Copper plate dating back to the early 19th C.1800's! This plate measures near 36cm/14" I have spent hours researching these symbols and the country of origin. I have determined(to the best of my ability) that it is of OTTOMAN origin and have found 3 that are similar! However. None are as large as this one! The others are about 28cm/11" and listed as high as $1100! All three plates contain 2 common symbols. But each has a different"cross-hatched" symbol. On this plate it looks like a round flower. Horse Head Drop Shank Spurs With Tooled leathers-NR I'm in the process of getting rid of years of collectible items that I have collected for a long time. I'm on the edge of being 83 years old and my health dictates that I shouldn't try and take this stuff with me. Today I am listing this used pair of western style drop shank spurs. Right off the bat I want to point out these spurs were never worn by Bat masterson. Doc Holliday or Wyatt Earp. They are of more recent vintage. They are drop shank spurs with a nickle plate finish. They have a brass horse head image on the heel band& that image is encircled within in a horseshoe. Spurs come with tooled basket weave leathers that have an ACORN design. Rowels measure 1 3/4 inches in diameter& they have 10 points. Spurs, leathers etc are in good useable condition& are also ... moregreat for decor. Leathers are of high quality heavy genuine leather. NOTE these spurs come with the heel chains and are in good condition with most of the plating etc. i ntact. I have been questione about the age and can only tell you they have been in my possession for about 20 years and were not brand new at that time. Vtg Leather Tooled Spanish Conquistador Horse Sword Note Book Journal Cover Pen
This tooled leather journal measures approx. 9-1/4" wide x 8-1/4" tall. The front is a warm medium brown with raised scrollwork around the edges and a scene of soldiers returning home up the mountain. One man leads two horses. One with a fallen comrade and the other carries his armor, shield, sword and spear. The back is a dark brown grainy leather and both pieces are tied together with a dark brown cord threaded within two drilled holes. Inside is the original white paper note pad and pen which fits into a leather holder on the inside back cover. Although the pen looks unused, I have checked and the ink is dry. This is a vintage pair of handmade tapaderos made by Henry Houston Schweitzer from Matador. Texas. HH Schweitzer was regarded as one of the premier Texas saddle makers. He opened his shop in Matador, Texas in 1924 and operated until the mid-1900s. They are all original with no repairs. They are made out of skirting leather and are floral carved on the outside and basket stamped on the inside. They are marked with the HH Schweitzer maker stamp on both taps. They have Visalia style leather covered stirrups. There is surface cracking and scuffs from use on the taps and the leather covering on the stirrups is worn and torn in some places. Beautiful Hand Tooled Leather With Alligator Custom Made Western Boots
This is a nice pair of custom made western boots. The shafts are made out of a high quality leather with a beautiful hand tooled floral pattern. The foot is made out of Alligator and has leather wing tip style inlays on the toes and inlays on the sides of the foot. They are 12" in total length and 4 1/8" at the widest point of the sole. They have a little over a 12" shaft with a 1 1/2" cutback heel. The shaft is about 13" around the top at the widest point. They are a cognac color. The coloring in the pictures is pretty accurate. You are buying a beautifully Tooled-Leather Western Riding Saddle. With a Model 1640, Ralide Tree. The Saddle has a 16 Inch Seat, and was used very little, and is still in excellent condition. This item was bought new in 2004, and is being sold by the original owner. There is one small scrape on the leather, and a scratch that will not show up in the photos. The color of the leather is Light Brown, or Caramel, and the Sheepskin Underside is in Excellent Condition, as are all of the Fittings, Stirrups, and Straps. VINTAGE SILVER-PLATE FOOTED PITCHER WITH INCISED ALL-OVER FLORAL AND LEAF DECORATION. Mid-20th Century vintage. Circa 1950’s– 1960’s. It is a good quality piece of silver-plate– good for a gift or to keep for your own collection. We received it as a gift and have carefully stored it to prevent tarnish. Don’t know the maker on this piece of silver plate. There are several“touch” marks on the upper edge of the rim. Close to the spout. See photo of edge. The pitcher has 4 curved feet. And stands about 7 inches tall from the tabletop. It is about 6 inches wide to the edge of the handle. Opening at top is about a 4 inch diameter. And bulbous center is close to 5 inches. Weighs about 3 pounds before any packing materials. Nice petite size. Probably was used for ice water– has a lip at the top to prevent ice from coming out when you pour. I believe this is a size 32 or 34, it measures from one end to the other without buckle on 36" The belt is in good condition, not perfect but nice condition considering the age. The attached belt buckle is stamped1973 Dieckman on the back. This is made of brass and has a buffalo or bison on it and can be cleaned up way more to shine.
