HARRIS WESTERN SHOW HORSE TOOLED LEATHER HEADSTALL w STERLING SILVER OVERLAY *NR
Up for auction is a used Harris 2 ear western show horse headstall with sterling silver overlay buckles and ferrules. The headstall is made from good quality double stitched leather with a tooled pattern. The leather has aged to a darkish medium oil. I believe that this might be an older Harris headstall. It is stamped Ralph Harris Leather on the back side of the cheek pieces where the bit connects. Ralph is Phil's dad for those of you who don't know that. The two ear pieces have a long engraved oblong silver ferrule at the base and smaller ferrules spaced between braided rawhide knots. The left ear piece is MISSING the top rawhide knot which can be clearly seen in one of my photos. The cheeks each have two longer engraved oblong sterling ferrules in the center separate by braided rawhide which also separates a smaller ferrule on ... moreeach end. The quick bit connectors are rawhide knots which slip through a leather loop. The silver buckles are stamped Overlaid Sterling Mexico. The tips are not marked but appear to be sterling silver also. This is a horse sized headstall. It should fit a smaller to medium sized western show horse head but probably not a large headed horse. The distance from bit end to bit end can be adjusted from approximately 37" to 41-1/2" long. The headstall is in pretty good used condition but does show some wear. The most significant issue is the missing rawhide knot at the top of the left ear piece. It's absence might not even be noticed in the show pen. The rawhide knots have some soiling or darker areas as can be seen in my photos. The leather has darkened from it's original light color. The silver is in very good condition. This is a top quality western show headstall made by one of the best show western show equipment companies. It is selling with no reserve and a low opening bid so this auction could be a good opportunity to add a nice headstall to your western show tack. Vtg Sterling Hand Stamped/Tooled & Hammered Domed Wide Cuff Bracelet-Signed-Nice
Up for your consideration is this wonderful old hand made sterling bracelet. I can't be positive but. Judging from the style, I believe this was made by a Native American but I do not know it's age. The inside is stamped Sterling up by the top of the inside rim and then is stamped again with WT below and at the bottom of the rim. I do not know who WT is and have found no information on-line about this maker mark. This is a slightly domed cuff style bracelet which has been hand tooled. Stamped and hammered into an intricate design of running suns? at the top and bottom which are then underlined with a running arrows pattern. The center of the bracelet is hand hammered. The inside shows shallow tool marks repeating the exterior design. While there is some weight to this bracelet and it is sturdy, it is still flexible enough to be adjusted ... moreto size somewhat. Currently, it will fit a size 6 1/2" wrist quite nicely. It is 1" wide and weighs slightly over 1 oz. As you can see from the photos. There is tarnish present. I have left it to the new owner to decide if cleaning is desired. I see no damage of any kind.no deep scratches, dings or disfiguring marks. I do see light surface marks from use but this isn't noticeable to the naked eye. I consider this piece to be in excellent vintage condition. This is a nice Leather Aztec hard case brief case. There is some wear. Please view photos clearly to see the slight damage inside due to its age. It has hand tooled Indian on one side and Myan Calendar on other side with loads of detailing surround focal point. It has a key. Sold as is. It has not been cleaned. But its not very dirty. No brand names are listed on it. It does have a beautiful patina in my opinion. Both front and back are in very good condition. The'roughest' looking parts are the gussets on the sides and bottom from previous use. The front side has the'Indian Warrior" and"Pyramids" as the main items. The back side has an Mayan Indian Calendar. The handles are leather. The locks that hold the brief case together are metal and look worn out. The inside has some slight wear. Vintage Motleys Hand Tooled Western Leather Buckle
This is a Vintage Motley's Hand Tooled Western Leather Belt Buckle with a Leather Belt that appears to be Hand Tooled as well. One of the photos in the lower photo group shows a closeup of the tooling on the belt for your evaluation. The buckle is hand tooled with hand colored white accents over a steel frame. The photos are closeups; the actual dimensions of the oval buckle are 3 3/4" x 2 3/4" The belt is tooled with a traditional leaf western motif overlaid with horse heads for a great look. The back of the buckle is marked"HAND TOOLED BY MOTLEY'S NACOMA TEXAS" and numbered"B 221" The listing also includes 40 1/2" long. 1 5/8" wide, 3/16" thick leather belt that also appears to be hand tooled. The belt is not marked so I do not know if was made by Motley's or not. Based on the positions ... moreof the five holes the wearable length of the belt should be between about 35 inches and 39 inches inclusive. In increments of about one inch. We also have several other belts. And quite a few belt buckles, in our ebay store. Condition: The leather on the buckle and belt are in excellent condition with little or no signs of wear or use. The only problem noted is with the steel fittings. The steel rivet heads were originally painted black. As found. All of the paint is missing on one rivet head with an underlying patina of rust. The other rivet head has fairly minor paint loss. The rivet heads could be sanded off and repainted with a small bottle of plastic model kit black hobby enamel or similar if desired. There is also a minor patina of rust of some of the metal on the back that has not affected the leather. The belt is offered as found/ as seen/ as described with respect to the above issues. It is all leather with nice hand tooling on it. The stitching needs to be replaced on the back of the seat, and one wooden stirrup is missing. The horn has some corrosion, but I think it can be improved with some elbow grease. The back is stamped 601(see the last photo) The buyer may pick this up to save on shipping costs if desired. Vintage Southwestern Hand Tooled Silver Buckle Bolo Tie An estate sale find. This is a vintage southwestern silver bolo tie which has been made from a belt buckle. It is large and heavy. I don't think it is sterlingas it is magnetic, more likely silver plated. The tips do test positive for sterling. Cetainly will pass as sterling though. Measures 2 3/4 inches tall by 2 inches wide. Has a hand tooled design. The back has the Bennett patented clasp which has been glued, there is rather a lot of glue but it is very secure! The ends of the tie itself are also silver. The braided tan and black leather tie measures 36" long in total. Excellent condition, no signs of wear. This is a very nice piece. Antique/Vintage Old Attractive Western Bridle Hand Tooled? Ricardo Aluminum Bit
This older attractive western bridle does not appear to have seen much use- I think that the majority of it's years have been spent just hanging forgotten on a hook in a barn somewhere. The leather is somewhat pliable. But the adjustment straps for both the noseband and the throatlatch are rather stiff. I have cleaned and conditioned the whole bridle, but in order for it to be used again I would suggest soaking it for a while in a bucket of oil. The end strap for the head size adjustment at the top of the bridle is in pretty good condition though(picture 12) The leather is pliable and easy to work with. But the adjustment straps for both the noseband and the throatlatch(as they are now) are in danger of cracking if worked too much and you can see in the pictures that I have not put the end of the noseband or the end of the throatlatch ... moreall the way thru their buckles as I am afraid that they will crack if I do so. It would really do the bridle good to soak for a while in some oil. In the 11th picture I have shown some cracking that is already there on the adjustment strap of the noseband. There is also a major crack on one side of the noseband as seen in the 7th picture. The tooling on the bridle(there are no reins) is very attractive and looks to be all hand done. I have not found any identifying markings on any of the leather pieces. The 5" aluminum bit is marked"Ricardo" as seen in one of the pictures. The bridle is the old fashioned type with the buckle for the head size adjustment at the top of the horse's head. There are two side pieces of the bridle that meet at the this buckle at the poll. The side piece that has the buckle on it is 20" long. Including it's end buckle. The other side piece is 27" long. This attractive old western bridle is being sold"no returns" and I will be happy to answer any questions. It measures about 41" from end to end, and about 1 1/4" wide in the middle wear it is the widest and tapers to about 3/4" at the ends. Tooled vintage border holster & two piece cartridge belt
Floral holster and two piece cartridge belt. The holster will hold a New Service and probably a medium frame gun up to 6 inches. It will hold the Colt s.a. up to 5 1/2 inches but is probably build for a D.A. gun. The holster has a safety strap and the body is held to the back flap with a piece of leather tie. The length of the body of the holster is a little over 9 inches and over 4 inches across the mouth. The belt is the border type with a center piece that attaches to two buckles on each end of the belt.The belt is over 47 inches attached and with the center piece in the third hole on both sides it is about 42 1/2 inches. The ammo slots are for 38 cal or similar ammo and the slots go all across the belt.The belt has the rimless cartridge attachment. The center piece shows a little cracking around one hole. A very old mystery glass flask. Small, clear with embossed image on one side that appears to be"Germania" similar to the famous Schiller statue. Glass does flouresce faintly green in UV test but I have not been able to find any reference to this oddity. Anybody know this one? It will be sold. Circle Y Breast Collar Older Hand Tooled Oakleaf Cute Buckles
No Circle Y stamp but I know it's a Circle Y as it was purchased new. No longer have the saddle. It has cute scallop type buckles. There's tips on the other end of the strap. It's a very nice quality leather that was hand tooled. It's got oak leaf and some scallop type tooling. All the stitching is tight. The only thing missing is the strap that goes between the horses front legs and snaps to the girth. If I had some scrap leather I could easily make one. I'm not sure what material the buckles and keepers are made of. They could use a polishing. The back of the buckles read R@1998. Breastcollar is a nice quality collar. I did not clean and polish it and you can tell by looking at it that it's had minimal use. The leather is strong yet soft and the tooling is nice. I'd call it a med. chestnut color. Antique Western High Back Saddle- 14" Seat Vintage Hard Leather Seat/Tooling/Supple Leather- Overall Great Condition Up for auction today is a Antique High Back saddle. Saddle maker is unknown but does have a model number as shown on the latigo keeper. This saddle features a 14" seat(measured from bottom of horn to inside cantle edge) Semi Quarter Horse tree with a 5" gullet measured right underneath the conchos. The leather has been lightly cleaned and conditioned but has been kept in good working condition. Could use some more conditioning. The leather is in good shape with no tears or problems but does show normal usage. Hard leather seat with a a nice tooling design. Please inspect photos for exact details. The leather is brown and is full tooled with the classic ... morebasket weave pattern. The saddle features leather conchos and strings throughout the saddle along with added silver spots. The saddle features laced stirrup leathers and 19" fenders. The fleece underside looks like it was replaced and glued on, the edges have come undone. This is a very rare find and in great condition for its age. Overall in great working condition and ready for a collector or to be used. Check out my other Western items Circle Y. Vintage Brown Leather High-Back WESTERN HORSE SADDLE 16" Seat Tooled Design
You are bidding on a vintage brown leather High-Back HORSE SADDLE. In well used condition with wear/scuffs& age spots. Small surface cuts/cracks. Wrinkles, the leather is stiff in places, missing two metal conchos. No stirrups or stirrup straps. The Saddle has a tooled design, 16" seat, the skirt is approx 24" long. The padding is in good shape& looks like it was replaced recently. I couldn't find any mfg/brand name markings on it. From a farm auction I don't know how old it is. T hanks for looking.

WESTERN TOOLED LEATHER BELT w/SILVER BUCKLE & Keeper*True Old West Look!
This is one of the best Western belt in my collection. Disbursing most of my things that I've collected for over 40 years. Isn't easy, but for some strange reason, it seems easier on eBay! This man's Western belt and buckle is handsome in a display or holding up tight-fitting leans. The leather was tooled by a true artist: no slips or mistakes, but more importantly, it's a beautiful job. The Leather has the patina only obtained with lots of handling wearing. The shape of the belt has taken on the curve of the male physique; broken in and ready to wear! The belt had been adjusted to allow for changes in waist size, from about 36 1/2" to 42" The additional holes were punched with a shoemakers punch. WHDTH of Leather, 1 3/8" to 7/8" in the narrow end. Leather is between 1/8" to 3/16" thick. BUCKLE ... moremeasures 2 1/4" x 2 1/2" I'm not completely sure of the age. It's VERY VINTAGE of at least 49 years. The Buckle and keeper is quality and well made. It's silvered steel, substantial feel. See photos to obtain details of the silver hardware. The brass touches show the expensiveness.
