This is a vintage female mannequin display piece that came from the jewelry dept of I. Magnin in Chicago when they closed in the 1980s. Vintage child mannequin. Very nice face. Coloring and"skin" finish. Sits easily on his own and is 20" tall. Weight is 8 lb, 1 oz. unboxed. This boy mannequin is stationary in the sitting position. Good solid display piece but has problems(see"condition" below)very good piece for repair, leavc it the same and disguise damage with clothes, or use for parts. The arm is very easy to take off and put back on, enabling you to change clothes easily. The legs are jointed but I did not try to remove them. He wears new looking"Teeny Toes" shoes. 1950s Vintage Mid-Century composition Mannequin, full woman, lady,BEAUTIFUL!
Here is a 1950s vintage full-size female mannequin! She's in incredible shape; the only flaw is shown in the last picture. Where there is some minor damage on one arm edge at the shoulder in the back. It looks like there's a separation between the top and bottom, but I just didn't want to manipulate the pieces together tightly for the pictures. I'm keeping her in pieces until shipping for safety! She has a beautifully painted face and sculpted hair. Long. Long eyelashes. Both arms are removable, both hands are removable, and one leg. She stands 5'9" tall. She does not come with a stand. Vintage 1970's Adel Rootstein Sara Kapp Female Mannequin
This is a vintage 1970's era female mannequin manufactured by Adel Rootstein. This mannequin was sculpted after 1970's model Sara Kapp for the"Classic and Symbol" collection. First introduced around 1973. She has a very distinctive profile and is the 1970's version of Violetta Sanchez, another Rootstein face with a distinctive nose. During the 1980's, Sara Kapp was the face for Princess Marcella Borghese cosmetics because her face was very versatile since she looked great in both dramatic and minimal make-up. The finish on this mannequin is not the original Rootstein finish because the mannequin is almost 40 years old however she is still in very good condition with no cracks or chips. There is some normal wear of the paint on the connection joints but overall. She looks great. The body type on Sara is a bit more ... moreboyish, which was very much the look of the early 1970's and her measurements are 32" bust, 26" waist and 35" hips, she is 71" tall, wears a size 7 shoe with 4" heels and her ears are pierced so any kind of earring can be used. The store owner had three of these sitters, and he used to refinish his own mannequins, he most likely did this one too. She is a junior model, and is in good shape. It is unmarked except for 4X on the back that we assume is a size. No maker marks so actual age and maker is unknown. The condition is good overall with some notable damage, The most notable is on the back side of the head as seen in the photos, also have various spot of surface damage and also some notable crazing esp. on the left hand. Her neck is cracked from an earlier repair and part of one ear is gone. Her removable leg is a bit loose, but does stay in place. Vintage 1960's Seated Decter Girl Mannequin
This is a great and fairly rare vintage 1960's seated Decter girl mannequin from their Profile Kids collection. This mannequin is the size and age of an 8 year old girl and she has a smiling. Happy expression on her face which is a signature Decter look of the era. All of her parts are genuine Decter vintage parts however her arms are not what the original pose looked like however I think the arm and hand positions work well on this mannequin and they create a very natural looking pose. The mannequin is in excellent condition with no damage. Her face painting is all original 1960's Decter but her body was partially repainted in the exact matching Decter skin color. Because she was used in a exhibit and required some minor repairs and touch up since the mannequin is about 45 years old. I believe this mannequin probably dates from around ... more1966-67 because she originally came from a JC Penney store and this was the time when they were using these Decter mannequins in their stores. The seated height of the mannequin is 31" and measuring from her seat to her toes. She is 27" long. She wears a size 7/8 or a girls medium and a size 11 to 12 shoe. The wig shown in the auction photos will be included with the mannequin. I have it styled in ponytails but the ponytails can be taken out so it can also be worn down- the wig is shoulder length. Vintage Female Mannequin Gorgeous Face & Eyes Composite?
This full size femal mannequin has been in the family for at least 30 years from what I can remember.I'm not sure where it was prior to that but it still looks the same! However I was recently told that it was much older and can possibly be German made. I know very very little about it except for what I describe below. It does have some marks and chips from age. Someone tried to repair the fingers and hands at some time which still need to be addressed if you plan on using the hands for display. There are metal brackets and pins whick connect the torso to the waist. The left leg to the torso, the arms as well as the hands. The arms and hands do connect but are slightly loose.The parts are numbered. The face is gorgeous and it looks like her eyes are made of glass but it is difficult to tell. The body, legs and feet look to be in descent ... morecondition with normal wear. The inside of the head does have some fiberglass material in it as well as some stuffing material which I did not remove. I am not sure what the mannequin is made of. It seems like a composite material and sometimes it feels like wood. I can not be 100% positive. The hands are also a lighter color than the rest of the body. The foam seems to be covered with a soft flocking to protect and give a soft skin feel. The nose has a bit of the flocking rubbed off but the nose is all there. The fingers are all there also but the curved wire has come through in places. The feet also have places where the wire ... morehas come through. Since the foam is still there, this looks as though it could be repaired. The back and head have a couple of stains which I have not tried to remove. I have taken plenty of pictures for info. You are bidding on a great full size vintage mannequin. She stand about 70" tall. She has a great punk rock face(reminds me of Miley Cyrus-not sure if that is good or bad: She is in great condition. She does have a few small chips in places but can easily be repaired with a little touch up paint. I left her as is. Overall she is great! This is a very unusual mannequin couple! I have used them for anatomy reference for sculpting. But I have no idea what they were designed for originally. He is 23" tall and she is 20 1/2" Made of a flexible hollow rubber, with a single internal wire for support, and attached with screws to the 8" diameter wooden base. The arms are jointed with metal attachments. There is no manufacturer marking that I can find. Vintage Pair of Girls 1960's Decter Child Mannequins Free Shipping
This rare pair of young girls are in good condition even though they are about 50 years old. Prior to my ownership they have had some repairs. Two fingers have been replaced. Each on a different hand. One shoulder repair to fix a hole. Boths heads have had patchwork to top and back( under wigs) The repairs are not perfect but well done, hiden from normal view. Some scratches to body with minor wear. I suggest these girls could be used as is but also worthy of a proper restore. My wife found these at a swapmeet and fell in love but we don't have the room.
