Vintage 1970's Adel Rootstein Sara Kapp Female Mannequin
This is a vintage 1970's era female mannequin manufactured by Adel Rootstein. This mannequin was sculpted after 1970's model Sara Kapp for the"Classic and Symbol" collection. First introduced around 1973. She has a very distinctive profile and is the 1970's version of Violetta Sanchez, another Rootstein face with a distinctive nose. During the 1980's, Sara Kapp was the face for Princess Marcella Borghese cosmetics because her face was very versatile since she looked great in both dramatic and minimal make-up. The finish on this mannequin is not the original Rootstein finish because the mannequin is almost 40 years old however she is still in very good condition with no cracks or chips. There is some normal wear of the paint on the connection joints but overall. She looks great. The body type on Sara is a bit more ... moreboyish, which was very much the look of the early 1970's and her measurements are 32" bust, 26" waist and 35" hips, she is 71" tall, wears a size 7 shoe with 4" heels and her ears are pierced so any kind of earring can be used. A Rootstein glass base and butt rod is included with the mannequin but the wigs, clothing and accessories shown in the photos will not be sold with the mannequin. Vintage Adel Rootstein Male Mannequin
This is an Adel Rootstein male mannequin from their Lounge Lizards collection. Pose LL7 with a Moose head. The collection was first introduced in 1988 however this mannequin was purchased new in 1992 by a retailer that I used to work for. This mannequin is in excellent condition- all the nicks and scratches were touched up with paint that is an exact match to his skin tone because it was recently used in an exhibit. The facial makeup and painting is all original Rootstein. The mannequin has all the correct parts except for the base. I am selling the mannequin with a glass base and a foot spike which isn't a Rootstein base or foot spike but it works fine with the mannequin. I will also include an original Rootstein ankle rod with the mannequin to use if you have or can purchase a Rootstein glass base. The mannequin has a receptacle for ... moreboth a foot rod and an ankle rod. The mannequin is 6' 2" tall. With a 38" chest, 30" waist, 33" inseam, wears a size 40L suit and a size 10 1/2 shoe. Vintage Adel Rootstein Female Mannequin - Lindsey B.
This is a vintage Adel Rootstein mannequin from the stylized Lindsey B collection. First introduced around 1973. This is a fairly rare and collectible mannequin and to find one in great condition with all the original parts is a good find. Incidentally the Lindsey B collection used the same bodies as the Superstars collection, which were also from around 1973. I'm not sure how old this particular mannequin is but I believe it is from the late 1970's. As stated before. The mannequin is in great condition because the retail store I purchased it from, took very good care of their mannequins and I know they had some of them refinished by Adel Rootstein some time in the 1990's- this one may still have the original finish but it is hard to tell since it looks so good. The mannequin is 5' 11" tall and her measurements are 33" ... morebust, 24" waist, 34" hip, wears a size 4 to 6 dress and size 6 1/2 to 7 shoe with a 4" heel. The mannequin will be sold with a genuine Rootstein butt rod and glass base. The clothing, jewelry, hats, and shoes are not included with the mannequin. Adel Rootstein Female Mannequin - Yasmine LeBon
This is an Adel Rootstein female mannequin. Yasmine LeBon from their Classics collection. Rootstein still sells the Classics collection brand new and the Classics are mannequins from various Rootstein collections that were introduced in the 1980's through the 1990's that were best seller poses. This Yasmine pose was originally released around 1989-90 but I know this mannequin was purchased new in 2006 by a major department store retailer so it is about 8 years old. The mannequin is in great condition with no cracks or breakage. All her parts. Finish and make-up is original Rootstein but the only thing I don't have for her is her glass base and rod. She has an ankle fitting and no butt fitting however I have the flange that attaches to a glass base that the ankle rod screws into and I will include the flange with the mannequin ... moreso all she will need is an ankle rod and base. I have a non-Rootstein glass base with a foot spike that I am showing in the undressed photos and I will sell it for an extra $20 if the winning bidder wants it. The mannequin is 70" tall. With a 33" bust, 25" waist and 34" hips, she wears a size 6 1/2 to 7 shoe with a 4" heel and she has pierced ears. The wigs, clothing jewelry and shoes are not included with the mannequin. This mannequin has one chip to the face which is located near the left eye orbital. The mannequin has some scrapes, dings, and relatively minor damage to the body. The mannequin has no arms. Vtg Adel Rootstein mannequin Full Body Female Mannequin with glass stand. Wig included. Se has scuffs and scratches. Paint loss, thin age crack on chest. Butt cheek has hole that appears to be factory for another stand or rod to help balance or hold her up better. She stands on her own but wobbly unless she leans against the wall with here straight arm. Over 6' tall. Good condition but needs some touch-up paint. Sold as is as found with no warranty's.
