Custom made STAINLESS STEEL SODA DISPENSER with 50s CORNELIUS COLD DRAWER & TAPS
This 4 tap fountain soda dispenser is a mixture of old and new. The base/body of the unit is made of stainless steel and appears to be in good condition. It also has a stainless sliding shelf/tray and there is stainless drip tray attachment that hangs onto that. The shelf comes out completely to access the items inside. It will look great after it is all cleaned up! The countertop on it fits perfectly but appears to be an older style counter top so an large one may have been custom cut to fit the base. The countertop easily lifts off as shown for access. The four 50s era taps have 3 Coca Cola handles and 1 Quinine Water handle. One of the Coca Cola handles had the name covered by an older Sprite decal or label. The taps are set in an extremely heavy Cornelius Premix Cold Drawer that is on sliding brackets. It has a stop so it does not come ... moreall the way out. Research on the patent number(2871675) show this was made in the late 50s. The patent drawings make it appear that a refrigerant ran into the drawer itself. You can enter that patent number into Google Patents if you want to check it out. Inside the bottom of the unit you will find two soda kegs and some more hoses and fittings. As stated in the condition statement we do not know if that is every part you will need to run four taps so use your judgement. You will receive everything shown inside. It is dirty on the inside wall but it all appears to be syrup. Fluid can be heard in the kegs so the unit and/or kegs must have been laid on their side at one point for them to leak out. The majority if not all of it could be cleaned up with a throughout cleaning. The unit measures approximately 49"T x 23"D x 30"W overall. The stainless base alone(no countertop. 6 Head Soda Fountain w/CO2 regulator and ice bin cold plate pre-mix Cornelius
Free delivery along I-75 from Ft Myers to Chattanooga around January 7th or 8th. This soda dispenser hooks up to the pre-mix bottles that you get from Coke or Pepsi. This type of soda fountain produces the very best soda quality. Since it is pre-mixed from the factory. The vast majority of soda fountains found in convenient stores are the post-mix variety, which really is quite a bit cheaper to supply lots of soda, but the quality is almost always compromised because the water that mixes with the soda concentrate is just tap water from the city that goes through some filters. Plus the equipment for the post-mix is much bulkier, heavier, and less portable for for temporary food vending setups. This setup uses a built-in cold plate which rapidly chills the soda as it dispenses by means of the ice that you load into the built-in ice bin, so ... morethere is no electricity needed to use this soda fountain. That can be a major advantage when you are working from a limited power supply such as a portable generator or a long extension cord. You will need some additional ice to compensate for the ice melting on the cold plate though. But as long as you account for that extra ice, it will not be a problem. I do also have the CO2 regulator and all the hoses that go to the pre-mix bottles. The only additional things you will need with this setup are the pre-mix bottles themselves(which you get from Coke or Pepsi) a cylinder of CO2, and some ice. I also have a 5 head soda dispensing fountain which will be listed on ebay shortly, and if you buy both, I will give you a little bit of a discount.
