This is a Vintage 1970 Pontrelli Stainless Steel Art Deco Style Illuminated Champagne or Beverage Fountain. This piece is dated on the bottom 1970. This fountain is a beautiful older example of the Pontrelli Fountains. I am not sure the gallon size but the dimensions of this item are approx. 21 inches tall and 13 inches diameter. In fact the little signs of use give it an antiqued look. There is one decorative piece that is broken(though it has no missing parts and is still attached. Could be glued? It has been in storage for awhile-but I pulled it out and filled it with water and it worked great! Even the light came on! I bought it from a rental place going out of business-and it has"party Time rental" engraved on the bottom of the stand. It is very hard to see-and I would say unnoticable when in use-just wanted to let everyone know that it is there. Pump works great, the original chrome plate has wore out trough the years at bottom inner bowls. The off/on switch was by passed because it burned out, i got a new one that i will have an electrician install.The fountain is 24"tall, the bottom bowl is 21" in diameter the middle 11" and the top 5.5" The fountain works great it has some small dings at the top of the fountain, i used it about at month ago at my brother in law birthday and everyone loved it! BEAUTIFUL VINTAGE SAN MARINO CHAMPAGNE PUNCH FOUNTAIN 2 GALLON MINIMUM WEDDING
LET ME START OFF BY TELLING THE BAD. FIRST THE CENTER POST IS MISSING AS WELL AS THE PUMP AND ONE BULB IS MISSING BUT I WOULD JUST REPLACE BOTH. THIS IS AN EXPOSED UNDERSIDE SO THE WIRING IS RIGHT THERE AND EASY TO GET TO BUT IT NEEDS TO BE REDONE WHEN THE NEW PUMP IS PUT IN. THE OLD PUMP WAS REMOVED AND THAT JUST LEAVES THE WIRING DANGLING THERE. THE GOOD NEWS IS THAT THIS IS A VERY EXPENSIVE FOUNTAIN AT A GREAT OBO PRICE AND THE UNIT IS UN DENTED AND A HEAVIER GRADE OF STAINLESS STEEL AND IT IS A MIRROR FINISH. THERE IS A SHORT HOSE INSIDE THAT SHOULD BE REPLACED AT THE TIME OF SERVICE BUT A VERY CHEAP PART.
