Antique Industrial Cast Iron New York Table Legs Base With 3" Butcher Style Top
Very nice heavy cast iron industrial table base with 3" thick butcher block style wood top. The legs are about 33" tall. 30" across, and 23" wide. With the wood top the table is 36" tall. It was made by H. Maidhof in New York. It has raised letters on the cross section and both arches on the legs. It has been painted a glossy black and the lettering an antique red. Was part of a railroad repair companies' work room just north of Baltimore. They were using it as a work bench. Each leg has 4 holes on the top surface so the base can easily attach to the wood top. The wood top is 36" x 48" and is a salvaged piece from an old restaurant in the eastern WV area. It was refinished at some point but some of the lacquer is a little spotty from use. Antique Hand Made Butcher Bench Table Mortised Splayed Legs 48"x15"x29 1/2" Tall
I'm not sure of the wood but it is dense and heavy and the legs are the same wood as the top. Top is 15" wide x 48" long x 2 1/4" thick. It does have a crack on the top side and lots of knife/cleaver marks. Bottom side is tight with no cracks and the crack was probably in there originally when made and they put it on the top so that working pressure wouldn't split it. Height is 29 1/2" and it weighs 46 lbs. One set of legs is spread 15 3/4" on the bottom. The other set 16 1/2" Leg spread the long way is 34 1/2" one side, 36 1/2" the other. Table is tight and sound. This item is available for pick up here only as if I pound the legs out they will never go back in as tight as they are now. Hello. We are selling this beautiful vintage(bordering on antique) John Boos Butcher block table. The date codes will tell you it was made in April of 1958. It has a solid 15" thick block with four removable legs. It is a monster and is very heavy. If I had to guess I would say 200 lbs. It measure 33" tall, 30" wide and 24" deep. We bought it in the 1980's from a butcher that was going out of business in Downtown Minneapolis. In fact you can see in the block where he put his cleaver after every cut, there is a big divot in the top. We have taken great care of it all these years with mineral oil. It was used as a kitchen island but never as a cutting surface since we have owned it. This auction is for a super nice used butcher block table. This table stands 34" high and is 2' x 5' long. The butcher top on it is 2" thick and it sits on 4 solid legs that are 3 1/2" square in size. There is some minor wear on the top but can be easily sanded to be like new. Please see pics. This is a great work table for any kitchen. Bakery or restaurant for a prep table. The legs are removeable and this table is very solid and very heavy. You can see original butcher knife cuts and a depressed area on top of table from constant use. It has the original handle/ towel holder and Coca Cola Bottle Opener. Also has removable shelf beneath. Butcher Block Table Antique Old Vintage Kitchen Maple Hard Wood Solid Very Go
Antique. Amazingly well built butcher block in super nice condition, notice all the dovetail glue joints on the entire top(last 2 pix below) and the dent free metal caps. If you have been patient and waiting for a good useable butcher block. Your wait is over. I have sold several of these over the years. but never one in this good of condition, notice all the nice clean beveled edges and corners. As you will see in the pix below the top is not perfect but it is not all chewed up and there are plenty or level spots for placing objects. The glue joints on the legs have opened a little with age but they are still good and solid and should not be a problem. The legs are little shiny because I just got done putting a bit of tung oil on them. I did the same to the top the day before so it is dry for the pix. The block is 30"x30"x 29.5" ... moretall. Vtg 72" Maple Wood Butcher Block 6" Back Side Splash 30" Deep Baker Work Table
Up for sale is a Very Large Beautiful Wood Butcher Block. I believe it is made out of Maple. But I am not 100% sure. It has a nice 6" back and side splash on three sides and the bottom and walls are a heavy 2" thick. It is 72" long and 30" wide, with a 68" by 28" work space! It does not come with a stand and it is very heavy, roughly 225 lbs. It has some scratches and scuff marks. It also has a little bit of residue and light staining. But I believe all of this would easily sand out and would look even better stained and waxed again. I am willing to prep this for shipment. But the buyer will take care of all of the arrangements. This would include getting in touch with the freight carrier of their choosing and contacting me with a pick up date. AMTEKCO Bakers Table 8' Gorgeous Maple Butcher Block Boos
This is a BEAUTIFUL Amtekco Maple Bakers table.NEVER used for any sort of butchering or anything. We just refinished the top by stripping the old coat(no chemicals) then fine sanding and finally apply a fresh coat of high quality bees wax mixed with mineral oil then finely scraping off any residue. As you can see it has an open base for storage of ingredient bins etc. underneath. It is framed on the underside of the wood with angle iron and is extremely sturdy! This my personal table from my now closed catering business and would love to see it go to a good home. It measures 8' long by 34 1/2" high by 30" deep. The top is 2" thick. There is some very light rust marks on the stainless legs as you can see in the pics that will come off with steel wool. Steam Punk Coffee Table - Vintage Butcher Block on 1900-1930 Cast Iron Base
This Steam Punk coffee table/display bench is created by re-purposing a large piece of what must have been the work counter from an old fabric store as there is part of a yardstick embedded in the front edge of the table. The table is 19" wide by 45.5" long and has an adjustable(by several inches) antique cast iron base that is currently set at a height of 25" Due to the prior use of the butcher block. Apparently as an industrial-type sewing machine table, there were a number of drilled holes, which I have left as part of the piece's history. I decided to use one of the existing holes to wire in a vintage light globe at one end of the table. The fixture can be easily disconnected and removed.
