60 Quart Whip for Hobart Mixer VLMH Heavy Duty
This is a used in good working condition as further described Hobart VLMH60D wire whip for Hobart mixers. There are a few spots of light surface rust on the wires. Nothing to affect function and a good soak in vinegar water will take them away completely. Otherwise clean and ready to go. The wire diameter is.145 and more typical is.107 so it is in fact heavy duty. Heavy duty or not it is missing four wire loops but they were cut off as opposed to broken off and I've seen that before, people mix something and have problems because it's too thick for the design so they remove wires. This is an interesting one! I am told that this is a Hobart S601. There is no identifying plate that I can find to verify that. I am also told that this was used in a school and was working a few months ago but since I have not tried it out I am selling it as non-working. It appears by the wiring to be phase 1. As you can see by the photos this is easily 50+ years old and still has the original paint and Hobart Tag. This would look great restored in the front window of a bakery/candy shop.
