Card stocks, glossy or shiny paper stocks or envelopes. Jamming problems can be minimized by setting the unit up correctly and using the recommended paper stocks. In general. Most paper folders jam from time to time, so it is advisable to consider a 10% overrun on any folding job, to accommodate possible jams, misfeeds, and setup alignment. Also, paper that has already passed through the heating process of a laser printer or copier will sometimes curl on the edges, so it is advisable to flatten the ream before feeding it into the unit by placing a heavy object on top of the stack for a short time. Techko LF283B Letter Paper Folder Automatic - Single Sheet
Light duty manual setup machine. Folds 18-24 lb. bond paper up to legal size. 80 sheet hopper. The Techko LF283B folding machine is made for folding light volumes of standard paper. It can handle up to legal size paper in 4 different folds. It is very small. Weighs 20 lbs. and is easy to set up and use. The Techko LF283B is NOT suitable for coated or glossy paper. It cannot fold more than one sheet at a time. To begin. You set the type of fold by moving the knobs on the front and back removable plates. For letter and legal size paper, the stops are marked for the 4 types of folds. Place up to 80 sheets of 20# paper in the hopper of the Techko, and turn it on. The sheets will be folded in about a minute and collected in the metal paper catch basket below. There is a de-jamming handle located on the bottom of the machine to help clear jams ... moreeasier.
