I took this out of the box for the pictures and it appears to have not been used, but since I can't say for sure it is being classed as New Other. There are some minor scratches. This unit comes in the original packaging with all of the paperwork. The box does have some water damage, but nothing that came into box. According to the manual, when these machines are not used for an extended period of time, the rollers become flat spotted and will make a thumping sound. This corrects itself with use. Please ask any questions you might have. Make sure to look at the other items that I currently have listed. I mainly use Fed Ex even though the calculator shows it as UPS. The price will remain the same. I get far better service from them than UPS.

Martin Yale 1217 Auto Folder Paper Folder Machine Before we got this machine. We were hand folding short runs or sending out anything that needed folding. The Martin Yale 1217 Auto Folder is small enough to fit on a small table or desk or cart. We used this to fold trifold brochures(we started printing runs of 500 to 1500 trifolds on our canon and docucolor inhouse instead of outsourcing them once we got this folder) as well as letters. Bifolds, z-folds, and more. It is sized to allow up to 11 x 17 to be folded although we mostly used it for conventional trifolds. Selling because of a health crisis which has forced me to get out of printing for now and the cost of maintaining the space to keep everything when not turning out jobs.

Recently acquired at a local school auction that had upgraded. I tested this out it's complete and working. I was able to get a pretty nice tri-fold going after getting my bearings with how to use the machine. Please check out the video! There is a cracked area in the back side(shown below) Just cosmetic- otherwise this one appears to be in really good shape with little wear. The paper intake is friction based and would sometimes pull multiple sheets in, I have a feeling this is just a calibration issue, it was working fine(consistently pulling in single pages) then I decided to turn all the knobs to make sure they worked and screwed up the calibration. It can fold from letter to legal paper and almost anything in between. This particular machine seems to be in working condition with the exception that it is missing the#1 fold gate assembly. It is the assembly which goes on the top right of the machine when looking at it from the control panel. Since the machine is missing this part. It will not run as a safety precaution.
