This is a used A B Dick No. 58 electric table top friction feed paper folder. It handles 8.5" x 11" up to 12" x 18" and has 6 popular folds including half fold. Letter fold, Z fold, accordian fold and french fold. The red chart on the paper table indicates what position to set the top and bottom fold stops. Simply insert the paper and begin folding. The machine measures approximately 28 inches wide by 19 inches deep by 17 inches high and weighs approximately 75 pounds. The motor runs. I has the newest style pump and the combo rollers are in excellent condition. As near as I know it is complete except for the manual and it does not include a cart. You are bidding on a used Martin Yale 959AF air feed folder. This folder is in excellent condition. I don't think it has had much use at all. The rollers show no wear and the pressure from roller to roller is even from right to left. This particular model has the pump mounted in the folder below the rollers on the base plate. It makes the folder itself a little on the heavy side for a tabletop folder but at least you don't have to mess with lugging the pump around and trying to find a place for it. When I was checking this folder out I folded 8.5 X 11 20lb. bond with it and it ran great. Just out of curiosity I then tried 11 X 17 coated 90lb. paper and had trouble with it feeding. If I babied it then I could get it to feed but I doubt if you would want to fold a lot of paper like that on this machine. Also. I have found that most ... moreany tabletop folder is not the best way to go if you fold a lot of paper that has been printed on high speed copiers. They curl the paper, dry it out and also put fuser oil on the paper that eventually makes the rollers dirty and not grab the paper well. If you fold a lot of this type of paper then a floor model folder will serve you much better. One bottom corner of the back cover(it is plastic) has a small ding in it. It either got bumped or dropped on that corner but it did not affect the frame and it folds great. I loaned it to a customer while I rebuilt their Baum folder and he said it worked great. I didn't ask what kinds of paper he ran through it. It does not come with a stand. It also comes with the owner's manual. Even though it is in very good condition I am selling it as is with no returns. Freight is to expensive for that. I am offering free freight to anywhere in the continental USA if your location is a commercial location with a dock or a forklift. If it requires a liftgate delivery I will have to charge $50 to $100 for that depending on what the truck line charges. I bought this several years ago with the intention of finding the missing parts. But due to the fact that I cannot find the parts. I have now decided to let it go. It is missing the paper-limiting feed stopper. Or whatever the heck it is called. It is the thing that you adjust so that there is only a single page thickness for paper to pass thru in feeding the machine. There are also a few rubber belts that have dried and cracked as well(and no longer installed) So. The purpose of this auction is to sell this AS-IS(NOT WORKING, WITH MISSING PARTS) OR to let you know what I have. And you can email me to create a new auction to sell you a specific part. I am NOT OFFERING ANY WARRANTY or GUARANTEE in this auction. However. I will offer one for the motor, IF you purchase the motor in a separate auction. Repeat.
