The adult manikin has rate monitoring. It monitors both the depth of compressions and the rate of compressions. There are 4 lights in the upper left shoulder. When the student performs at a rate of 80 compressions per minute a green light comes on. When the compressions increase to 100 per minute the second green light comes on indicating the proper rate has been attained. Amber and red lights indicate slower paces of compressions. A bag of lungs is included for the adult manikin. The trunk skin peels back on the infant and adult manikins allowing the student a visual cue for hand placement over the center of the chest.
