Ambu 186-000 Intubation Trainer-CPR Training with Manikin-Dummy Head
This unit is in good physical condition. I could not figure out how to test it and it is missing a few things: missing a lung. The bag and a couple other important pieces. You can always go to a medical supply and get an intubation kit and use it to replace the one that came with the unit. The switch to turn the alarm on/off for the dental pressure sensor was broken. I repaired it and replaced the 9V battery. I did not know how to intentionally put too much pressure on the teeth/jaw and was afraid of breaking something. I believe it will work fine. If there is a broken part that needs to be replaced. Or if you want to replace the missing lung, you can contact Ambu or a medical training supply place. I would provide a link, but the greedy imbeciles at eBay think I'm trying to sell parts from Ambu. Sold as-is due to a couple missing parts ... moreand no manual. Nothing appears to be broken. Up for Buy It Now is a Laerdal Airway Management Intubation Trainer CPR EMT Nursing Intubate Manikin. This manikin has been used and he has some ink stains in his chest where he was marked by the department he belonged to. The left lung hinge is broken off but it manages to stay with a little improvisation as you can see in the pictures it stays in place. There is no hard case but the board he is attached to is present as well as the hinges that secure him. He has a tear on the septum and some scratches and scuffs but overall still in good training condition. If you have any questions about him please email me. ALS Skillmaster 4000 and Heartsim 4000 Link and Remote This is a like new condition Laerdal ALS Skillmaster 4000 complete advanced life support training system. This manikin is still listed on Laerdal’s website(see link below) but was replaced by the $12.000 ALS Simulator a few of years ago(also linked) The manikin is in perfect working order. In almost new condition. No scraps, tears or breaks, does have small one mark on left chest(see picture) Everything works excellent. Manikin came from a small community college and has had very little use. Also comes with own dedicated Compaq Laptop and Software for running scenarios. Computer is older but works fine for running and storing scenarios. Airway in perfect condition. The teeth click when pressed, and vocal cords spasm when inflated. Manikin will not allow ventilation unless head tilt or ... morejaw thrust is performed or unless intubation is selected on the software/remote. Software can select airway to be completely obstructed or partially to simulate a tension pneumothorax or FBO. IV arm has two IV start pads. One new and one in good condition and can be used for realistic ACLS megacodes. Computer will record every time ventilated(and how much volume) Compressions(depth and rate) pulse check, head tilt/jaw thrust, defibrillation, precordial thump and more. Bi-lateral pulses are automatically generated and are either normal. Weak or absent depending on the scenario or selection on computer. Manikin audibly simulates breathing. The Ambu Intubation Trainer has accurate simulation of mouth, nostrils, teeth, tongue, pharynx, epiglottis, vocal cord, trachea, esophagus and lungs as well as realistic lifting and tilting of head and movement of the spine. The left side of the face is open, allowing control over the trainee’s techniques. The walls of the pharynx and trachea are transparent, permitting the instructor to follow the progress of an endotracheal tube.
