VINTAGE REGENCY TRANSISTOR RADIO & CASE MODEL TR-1 TR-1G
This is for a Regency transistor radio. I don't know anything about transistor radios so I will do the best that I can to describe it. It is marked Regency on the front and on the inside has model# TR-1& TR-1G and another number that is 19511. It is black with copper tone looking dials. I was told it was from around the mid 1950's but can't be for sure. It did not have a battery in it when I bought it and I don't have the old type of battery that it takes to test it which is a# 215 battery. It looks to be in very good condition if it is from the mid 1950's. The only thing that I can find wrong is that it has some scuffs and scratches on the outer back of it and it has a tiny hole in the bottom end of it. To me it looks like someone may have tried to make a small hole to open it with or maybe it was made like that I ... morecan't be for sure though. The battery compartment looks to be in good shape with no corrosion. When taking the back off and putting it back on. It does snap into place easily and stays on. Please look at all pictures though just in case we missed anything. There are 11 pictures shown so you may scroll down to see all 11 photos. Also you may be able to enlarge them by clicking on each photo. It also comes with a brown leather case that is in very good condition and also has the name of Regency on the front of it. Again, It did not come with a battery and I don't have one to check it with so I do not know if it works or not therefore it is being sold As-Is. Payment due within 3 days of auction ending. I looked in the back and saw no signs of burnt wires or corrosion. It says it takes some kind of pen batteries. I don't know the age but there is no bar code anywhere.

This item up for sale is a vintage General Electric Model C550D Transistor Clock Radio in working condition. Radio is black with chrome and is in good overall cosmetic condition. Has paint speckles but a good restore project. Radio was made in the 60's. Radio is in working order and does pick up channels. I picked up four or five stations where I am at and normally I don't pick up any more than one or two. So this one seems to pick up channels well. The clock on this radio does work. 1960's Vintage Hacker Hunter RP38 AM-FM Portable Transistor Radio Description. Black Hacker VHF Hunter RP38 Portable Transistor Radio 11" x 8" x 4" The AM/FM Hacker Hunter RP38 was introduced in 1969. It is a three waveband portable covering the Medium. Long and VHF(FM) bands. AM reception is from an internal ferrite rod and there is a 36" swivel base telescopic aerial for VHF. There is a separate perspex covered VHF tuner module. A special circuit adjusts the operating conditions correctly as battery volts decrease minimising distortion at low voltages and extending battery life. 1.5 Watts is available from the audio module feeding a large eliptical speaker and there is a rotary tone control. The radio is housed in a wooden cabinet with black leatherette trimmings and polished teak ends. It has a strong metal carry handle. The whole radio is in excellent cosmetic condition.
