Hello. I am listing a scarce mint in box complete Dick Tracy radio reciever but its actually a 2 transistor AM radio. The radio is in unused or gently played with condition. Hard to believe its in such great condition as a kid today would not have it by the end of month and this is in its box and is 52 years old. the radio works I am listening to it as I type. The shoulder plastic case is undamaged and headphone works I checked it and original strap is still folded like new. the box does not smell of musty or mildew odors like a lot of crap that cpmes from someones celler. Box has some weaqr one can see in pics and the radio is basically unused and functional with no melt marks or cracks in plastic. Vintage1960 era Transette Solid State Transistor Radio - Works Good
My dad really liked Transistor radios and had several. This one works good. We live in a rural area a good distance from local radio stations. The signal we received was good. I believe this is a twelve transistor radio from looking at the insides of several others I have. There is a dent on the back at the right side of the top and one of the side. The back pulls off easily. No need to pry it open. The radio measures 3 7/8" high by 2 1/2" wide and is 1 1/4" thick. It does not have a case. The radio weight 5.2 ounces.

Vintage Linmark Transistor Radio with Case Excellent
The radio is in excellent condition. Showing little signs of wear. It does work well across the dial. I do not know the year but it does have Civil Defense markings. Das Kofferradio wird auschließlich als defekt und als Ersatzteilträger abgegeben. Folgende mir bekannten Mängel: Die Funktion konnte nicht überprüft werden- Das Batteriefach ist defekt. Da Batterien ausgelaufen sind und es fehlen zwei Federn-Das Skalenseil hängt fest( ist aber nicht gerissen) Der Tragegriff fehlt Der Zustand des Gehäuse ist gut. This is a beautiful piece. It Looks brand new. The case looks like it has never been used. The radio is 2-3/8" Tall x3-5/8 wide x1-1/4" thick. The 1st thing I did when I found this pocket radio was plug in 2-AA batteries. It works awesome! I dialed in several stations with clear reception. The story goes: A group of four investors founded Continental Radio; Television Corporation in 1934 by literally selling their belongings to raise the initial capital. The company was a successful right from the start. Concentration was on quality to an inexpensive prize. In 1939 Admiral ranked number 5 in sales volume by 1939. Bunis] Below we have a bit a different story- and there are early Admiral models. Admiral was also successful when the movement of major sales outlets. Such as Montgomery Ward and Sears, made their way into the radio sales ... morein the end of the 30s. Continental Radio and Television Corp. made the Admiral, Globe Trotter, Radiomaster and Star Raider brands for them and some more. Admiral radios were also exported. The volume control is quite scratchy and undoubtedly needs to be cleaned. This is definitely a great vintage piece of Americana and would make a great show piece or addition to any collection. They were hard to find and hard to hear- so, it does work- but not the best. The Model 6TP-219 is a 6 Transistor Superheterodyne. Freq. Range is listed as 540- 1600 K.C. The output is listed as 7 0 mW. Made by the Tokyo Shibaura Electric Company in Kawaskai, Japan. The color is white and navy blue. ZENITH ROYAL 300 Vintage All Transistor Maroon Radio 1950s EXCELLENT CONDITION
We just received many antique and unusual items and will be listing them for a while. Browse through our other items on EBay at http:stores.ebay.com/Sale-Sh0ck. The Zenith Royal 300 features a large chrome face with a porthole window for the tuning dial. The earliest 300’s had the words“Seven Transistors” printed at the top of the faceplate. But Zenith soon changed it to read“All Transistor” The lettering on the back is well protected when the radio is laid down by two small protrusions at the top and a third on the bottom of the battery door. I don’t know why Zenith didn’t continue this as it seemed to work fine, but the 300 is the only model that they did this to. Zenith produced the Royal 300 in four colors. Green, black, maroon and white. Maroon is more scarce and the white 300’s are very rare. The station tuning indicator of this radio ... morehas the“CD” symbols on the dial. These were at 640kHz and 1240kHz to allow US citizens tune to the CONELRAD stations. The CONELRAD(Control of Electromagnetic Radiation) plan was a means of emergency broadcasting to the US public in the event of an attack by the Soviet bombers during the cold war. It was established in 1951 and replaced in 1963. The development of intercontinental ballistic missiles effectively made the plan redundant. The unique styling of the Royal 300 makes it a highly sought after collectable. Especially when found with the metal face still in nice condition like this one. All of the black letters(ALL TRANSISTOR and ZENITH ROYAL 300) are totally intact, though there are light surface scratches present on the metal face and the cabinet itself. There are no chips or cracks anywhere and the overall condition is very good to excellent. It definitely displays very well. I haven't worked this radio in the many years it has mainly been on display among my radio collection as one of the good lookers. Now it's time to downsize and have been putting items on eBay. All knobs have crisp edges, work exactly as they should, and have clear markings. The Shortwave Antenna is missing. It screws into the very top. And would be very awkward to use. I'm sure anyone who listened primarily to AM would remove it right away. Also, the radio DOES NOT WORK. When I move the Band Selector Switch I hear noise from the speaker, but that's all it does. Vtg COSMOS-B "Coffin" Shaped Transistor Boys Radio
This auction is for a Vintage COSMOS-B Transistor Radio. The coffin shape along with the two-tone black and white case really sets this one apart. The radio does work using a 9V battery. It has some small paint specks on the white half of the case that seem to come off fairly easily with your nail and there is a chip on the bottom of the case. Would make a really nice addition to any collection!
