This is a very rare find. the NX-230 tube was made in 1925 era. The drawing/schematic is dated 1931. I know the tube is very rare. So to find it, and, the equipment that it goes with is awesome. The tube does light up, filaments are good. Crisp silver getter color. I never tried to make the oscillator work. I thought it was enough to just have it. It does look like someone added an old style phone jack on it. Look at pictures for box condition and face. This is going to be 100 years old soon.

Reference and distortion settings. These seemed close as compared against my other equipment(HP400FL, Fluke 8920A etc. The attenuator stepped up and down with a little erratic switching. I am sure all the controls could use a good cleaning and the unit needs a thorough calibration.
