Motorola S1067A Audio Oscillator Signal Generator with Matching Transformers
Here is a Motorola S1067A transistorized audio signal generator/ oscillator. It generates audio tones 20-200khz at a maximum level of 1.0V RMS into 50 ohms or 3.5V RMS with the SLN6225A transformer and 10V RMS with the SLN6214A transformer. The oscillator can be powered by 120VAC line or by 15VDC minimum batteries to eliminate any AC line hum. This generator can be used as a signal source for any audio signal between 20-200khz or to modulate an RF signal generator. The unit also has a built in 1khz notch filter to use as a distortion analizer and Sinad checker. It is working very well as can be seen in the attached photos. I have for sale a MINT condition Metasonix TM-3. This unit is long discontinued and often difficult to find. This unit is number 44. Power supply is NOT included and it does not come with a box. I will however provide very safely package of this unit to ensure it arrives safely to you destination. Here is a brief description of the unit: The METASONIX TM-3 is the only voltage-controlled oscillator on the market with an all-tube signal path. It consists of two thyratron tube sawtooth oscillators. Which are wired in parallel but may be offset with their individual front-panel tuning controls. Furthermore, soft sync is available, to force oscillator 2 to track with oscillator 1.The waveform produced by the 2D21/5727 thyratrons is unique and distinctive-a very imperfect sawtooth. It's the kind of sound that screams VINTAGE, because the only ... moreother instruments that produce it are vintage ones-the Mixtur-Trautonium, the Univox, and some 1950s electronic organs. Furthermore, there is a suboctave circuit, which adds a square wave one octave below oscillator 2. It includes short pulses an octave above, for a distinctive sound.
