Mitutoyo Mux-10 Multiplexer- Connect 3 Mitutoyo Digital Gages to Your Computer
Barely used Mitutoyo MUX-10 multiplexer. Connect up to 3 Mitutoyo digital gages to it. And then use the serial port to connect to your computer. When you press the"send" button on your digital caliper or other gage, the data is transmitted to the MUX-10 and on to your computer. You may need an RS232 to USB adapter if you don't have a serial port on your computer(most new computers don't come with RS232 serial ports any longer) The adapters are inexpensive online. I believe you may still need to do this even with the newest model Mitutoyo multiplexer; at least that's what it looks like from their website. This is an older model. But it appears that new Mitutoyo gages still are compatible with it. You will need an SPC data cable that goes from your gage to the MUX-10. These are available from Mitutoyo. Or if your gage ... moreis an older style, you can use one of the 3 cables that comes with this unit. However, these cables do not appear to be compatible with the current newer Mitutoyo gages. See the pictures for the connector type that fits into the gage. So even if these cables don't work for your newer gage, you can order a compatible one from Mitutoyo. This unit was used for just a few days for some measurement system development work a number of years ago. It has never been used in production and has only seen very. Very light usage. The unit was plugged in and turned on and appears to be functioning correctly. AV Tech AVC 707 16 channel color multiplexer
This item was used to help run our security equipment. But my company has switched systems. In the jumbled mess I can not find the power cable, but it takes a DC 12v adapter. This multiplexer does work, just needs a power cable. If I am able to find it before the item sells, I will definitely include it. There are some scratches on it, but very few.
