I am selling a MFJ-969 Roller Inductor transmatch. It has lighted Cross Needle meter. Built in dummy load, switching for several antenna types from coax to open wire with 4:1 balun and long wire. MFJ says it reads true peak forward power. Powered by external DC or has provisions for using a 9 Volt internal battery. This was purchased at an estate sale and I tested it on my antenna. It tuned smoothly and dipped SWR to zero. It is in great condition and I would have kept it myself but I run more than the 300 watts that this tuner can handle. Air-Dux inductor coil stock pulled from military surplus. The coil assembly is 6 1/2" in overall length. The actual coil section is 4 1/2" long. The coil is 2" diameter. 18 ga(I think) and 13 turns per inch. It has. As you can see in the pictures, a variable(rotating) inductor at one end. This is used and needs cleaning. Some disassembly will be required to do a thorough cleaning. One feature is the every other turn depressed coil which allows for physical tapping of the inductor at that point. This was a standard method for crystal radios& amateur radio exciter or antenna tuner projects. We really do not have any further information on this.
