vintage Vox Cry Baby wah pedal halo inductor.
this is a rare vox cry baby clyde mccoy circuit wah pedal. this wah i believe dates to 1967. the piece of paper that is usually connected to the bottom plate is missing. wah works but cuts out on the heel up high end pitch position. when you first engage the wah the volume drops but then comes back when you rock it back and forth. dont know why. the electrolytic capacitor has obviously been changed to a newer one. I dont know what parts are original besides the electolytic being changed. this is a great piece of vintage gear for anybody with a little fix it knowledge. I used this wah for a long time and tried to not go all the way heel up but its time to pass it on to someone who loves vintage wahs. eric johnson used the same issue wah for years. USA ONLY BIDDERS! VOX wah-wah pedal model v 846 TDK inductor 70's vintage
I've had this wah and used it as my main wah since the early 90's. I bought it off eBay. It supposedly once belonged to The Edge of U2, but who knows. What I know about it. Is that it has been my lead sound ala Schenker/Uli for years and it wasn't until I was recording with it recently when the producer said it had a hum and perhaps a capacitor had some oxidation. I had my guitar tech take it and he said it would be no problem even with the old school granny candy circuit to fix. But recently I got a Kemper and it has very deep programming for a Clyde McCoy in it that I just use with an expression pedal no battery or hum. This one definitely has a certain magic and may need some work but the pot is smooth and clean and with my noise gate I never knew it hummed at all. I don't know much about wah pedals. Only that I paid almost ... more700 bucks for it used in the 90's and it has a TDK square inductor. I'm told it's early 70's, Thomas Organ made it and it was similar or same as the one Hendrix used. I'm looking for a good home. Looking online at these TDK Thomas Organs they go for a wide range. I'd say this one has two issues. Hum, and scratched up bottom plate with missing feet. Other than that it's a gem. I'm sure a good tech could go through it and have the hum sited and it'd be 100% Check my feedback. This is Triad C-24X rated at 1H. It installs in the same mounting holes and fits inside the Dynaco chassis perfectly. The original chokes in these amps are 50-60 years old and many have leaked alot of"wax" over the years. This replacement. Iron Core Inductor Choke and Filter Capacitor for Precor 905e Treadmill Motor
This is a set of two(2) power filtering components removed from a Precor 905e treadmill being sold for parts. One is the motor power supply inductor filter choke that helps smooth the rough SCR output to create more of a DC supply. Along with the filter capacitor, at the motor terminals. It is in series with the Lower PCA M+(red) output and the drive motor. Markings are as shown in the second photo. This inductor might also be useful in other non-treadmill DC power supply applications. The other component is a can type capacitor made by Mepco/Centralab. It's value is 2200 uF at 200 VDC with a 250 volt surge. Auction Terms: I am offering this set of components, as described and shown in the photos, in used as-is condition with no warrantees.
