Vintage Star Wars Landspeeder 1st Issue 1978 with LP Logo Rare Original Owner
Up for auction is my husband's vintage Star Wars Landspeeder from 1978 with the LP Logo. The round. Blue LP logo on the box signifies the earliest release of the toy. LP stood for"Long Playing" and appeared briefly on first issue 1978 Kenner Toys Star Wars vehicles. The logo was dropped in 1979 and all later releases. The Landspeeder is in excellent condition: My husband only played with it a couple of times. And then put it back in the box. The Landspeeder is extremely clean. The wheels come out and retract. The front hood opens and shuts. The windshield is unscratched and clear. Paint is unscratched, bright, and shiny. The stickers are all attached and in nice shape. The sticker going down the middle appears to be raising, probably from dry conditions in storage. The box is in good condition: The box has some edge wear. And ... moreit appears that the corner flaps are buckled. There is also yellowed tape on both flaps. Both of the flaps have dents. The colors are bright and the box has never been displayed. There are no inserts or instructions. It's rare to find a 1st Issue Landspeeder in such good shape. This would make a great addition to a collection! From a non-smoking home. Please pay by PayPal. Vintage brass door ringer/bell- unusual- dog or monkey face. Can't tell for sure- has bell assembly that winds up- round base measures 4 3/4" in diameter- face is about 4" tall x 4 1/4" ear to ear- no maker mark that I could find.Condition- needs TLC- use for parts or restoration- ringer part doesn't wind, spring is shot- pins for ears are missing- bottom of jaw moves up and down, but jowl is bent inward on right front(this is facing toward looker) so jaw can't move properly- other parts could be missing also- have tried to find it on line, couldn't find anything. DIXON HONDO II THE PAUL LAWSUIT GUITAR Hi and thanks for looking.This is a good playing and good sounding guitar Made by Hondo for Dixon.This brand is seen mostly in the South.It simply sold better than other names.The guitar is from the lawsuit era of guitars.Lawsuit has become the generic term for these well built instruments that copied other designs.These instruments cut into sales and a lawsuit was threatened.The guitar has NO cracks or breaks in it.The neck is straight.The frets are in nice shape and everything works as it should.The guitar shows enough wear to give it a classic,relic vibe.The only notable points are:it has a pair of strap buttons added to the back of the headstock,the plastic nut has been replaced by an amateur but works fine,and it had a tremolo mounted at the end strap button and this left open screw holes.Please,see ... morephotos and enlarge.The guitar has character but still plays and sounds great.It comes with the gigbag in the photos.Priced fairly with a Buy It Now to guarantee that You are the High Bidder.
