I am unfamiliar with this meter and do not know if it is working properly. It had no batteries in it and so I put 2 new 9 volt batteries in. Please see the photos of the meter; one with switch in battery position and the other with the switch in test position with the calibrator turned on. Calibrator makes a tone when turned on and meter does read the noise level. With the calibrator on the end of the mic the meter read just over 9 in the 100 db position. With the switch in the battery position it reads only just over 2. I have no instructions or manual for use. This is sold as is and complete with all items shown plus 2 new 9 volt batteries.
