Superb Zeiss Ikon Super Ikonta 531/2 Camera + VG Case + Zeiss Ikophot Meter.
This is a superb Zeiss Ikon Super Ikonta 531/2 which is in almost timewarp condition. The brightwork and covering are both excellent bar a little black paint loss in places and slight case rubbing on the back, the original leather case is also excellent. It all seems to work- slightly stiffly, but whilst the lens shutter works fine, the button on the top of the camera is stuck so I expect it will need an expert to sort it out. The lens is a Novar Astigmat 1;3.5 f=10.5cms and it comes with a film inside. The meter is a Zeiss Ikophot meter in excellent condition and good working order, it comes with its good leather case. This old camera has been on display and looks fantastic so you can keep displaying it if you like but I do think that it deserves to be sorted. It starts at a fiver. It appears to have a water proof case so maybe they climbed the antenea during a storm to figure out why the wife couldn't see or hear her soap opera? I don't know if it works or if you could get a signal now if the old tv could even understand the signal. History: My father was in the US Air Force and was a radio operator. He retired and they hired him as a civilian associate. For as long as I can remember. My father collected radios and restored them. He worked on Radios, TVs and HAM radios for anyone who asked him. Should accent any petroleum collection. The good: always kept/used indoors in an industrial garage. But doesn't appear to have been used much at all. Clean inside. The bad: this reel is heavy-75 pounds, and I guess when the hose had water in it it was even heavier. Anyways, it was mounted inverted under a shelf and eventually dropped down and hit the floor. The impact broke the casting where the hose comes out of the housing. Also, there is an internal clutch part that is broken inside the housing as well. Both pieces appear to be cleanly broken and I guess could be repaired with a weld or epoxy, but I don't know for sure. So you are buying it in as ... moreis condition. I estimate a box for this reel will weigh at least 15 pounds. So shipping weight will be a minimum of 90 pounds. Overall. You're bidding on a fully functional Hasselblad 50411 metered winding knob with hard case. Manual and box, TIMEC wrist strap and 40266 shade attachment for the meter. The meter knob is in like new condition showing no real wear(plastic case shows wear) I've never come across one this clean before. I doubt it was ever used. When compared to my Sekonic meter this meter looks to be right on. This will only mount in place of the winding knobs on the 500C. 500CM and 503CX bodies only. It also makes a great pocket meter. The TIMEC wrist strap is extremely hard to come by and is in excellent condition showing some light wear. The shade attachment is in excellent condition. The above pictures are of the actual items. Hickok Model 49X meter movement is a 4 1/2" meter with 1 MA full scale meter movement with scales for reading from 0 to 10v AC/DC. 0 to 50v, 0 to 250v, 0 to 500v and 0 to 1000v. The 1000 ohms per volt resistors for these ranges are not included. There is also an ohms scale of 0 to 10,000 ohms. The auction is for the meter movement with scale only. This is for the repair of 1 specific trouble many of the 1655 model will develop. This is for just the 1655 model. No others. You can see in the picture that yours should have"BK PRECISION 1655 AC POWER SUPPLY" on the front panel below the meter. The trouble that will be repaired here is incorrect front meter reading, not agreeing with a measured reading on the isolated output plugs on front. Most commonly seen by front meter going up as AC Volts knob is increased, then at some point starting to down as knob is still increased. Very common to see a meter reading of 90 volts when actual output is 120 volts. I have used this power supply for years on the bench, have ... morerepaired many for others.
