Vintage Heathkit model V2 vacuum tube volt meter. It's in good shape for the age(50's? There is some wear and slight discoloration here and there. There is a pack with 2 D batteries inside. I'm not sure if someone added that on when they built it but it doesn't seem to be firmly seated as it can shake around. The back is missing 2 screws(see picture) so maybe one or both of those held it in place. I sell this as is as I don't really know how to test it properly. It does power on and the meter jumped when I touched the 2 leads to a battery. I believe the tubes are Atheon 6SN7 GTB. GE 6H6 and Kenrad? 6X5 GT. The 2 visible tubes do glow when it's on(see pictures) It comes with the 3 cords and a color code chart along with a"Resist-O-Guide" This will weigh about 6 to 7 lbs when packed. Issue's with this piece are the glass on the meters is cracked, and the leather handle is torn, other than that this is in great shape. The radio test set is about 10" long, 7" wide, and 3" tall. Vintage amp meter or ammeter. Weston Electrical Instrument Corp. Complete with instrument. Wires, and leather carrying case. Not dated. But the best guess is the 1950s. According to the radio museum website, Weston started making ammeters in 1929. This is a well-cared for instrument. The leather carrying case is in very good structural condition. Note the scratches and scuffs on it from use in the field. The two(2) attachment wires are covered with fabric that is in very good condition. The metal connector ends are also very good. No corrosion. The face of the instrument is 2.25 inches. The three(3) thumb screws are intact. The instrument and the case could use a little cleaning. Thank you. Check out my!

Old wooden Box test instrument. Nice dove tailing and leather handle is intact. MODEL CAPACITOR ANALYZER. TYPE CB-1-60. The Solar Capacitor Analyzers meet the requirements of radio service men and engineers for inexpensive instruments which will accurately determine the important electrical characteristic of all types of electrolytic. Paper, mica, trimmer, and air condensers. Condensers may be tested for capacity, leakage, opens, shorts, intermittent operation, and power factor. Accurately calibrated markings on several color-coded scales are provided for convenient measurement of capacity and resistance. These tests are made on a Wien Bridge. The power factor of the electrolytic condensers can be read directly from a scale which is calibrated zero to 50% power factor. Operates on 110 Volts, 50-60 Hz. Model CB has FIVE Ranges.
